Where To Shop For Christmas Presents | Blogmas Day 7
Happy Blogmas Day 7! We're officially a whole week into December!
So, today I'm gonna talk about Christmas shopping. I'm not one of those people who enjoys Christmas shopping. I like thinking of gifts to give people, but I don't actually enjoy the shopping part, whether that's online or in real life.
Because of that, I thought I'd compile a list of four places that make Christmas shopping really easy and enjoyable.
If there are places that you like to shop, feel free to leave your own suggestions in the comments!
Amazon
Amazon is always my number one go-to when it comes to any kind of shopping, but particularly when it comes to Christmas. Doing shopping during the Christmas period is extremely daunting, especially if, like me, you're not that big of a shopper in general. So doing it online is a great option, and amazon is the place to go. It has the widest variety of stuff, a lot of what you can buy is really good quality, and if you're an Amazon Prime customer, then you don't even have to pay for delivery! What are you waiting for?
Etsy
In my opinion, Etsy is the opposite of Amazon. While Amazon has a huge range of stuff that you can also get in the shops, Etsy is a lot more intricate and personal. Etsy is where you go to support small businesses, to find one-of-a-kind things that you won't find anywhere else. If you have no idea what someone might like, have a search on Etsy and you'll probably find something really special that you'd never thought about before.
Bluewater
When it comes to shopping in real life, Bluewater is the first place that I go to. It's in Kent, so if you don't live there then it's definitely the kind of place that you have to plan in advance to go to. But I love it because there's so much variety. It's big enough that it never feels crowded, it's all inside so you don't have to traipse up and down streets to find the shop you want, and there are a lot of independent stores that have amazing gift ideas. Definitely take a trip here if you can!
Oxford Street
And last but not least we have one of the streets that London is known for. Not only can you go and see the beautiful lights, but like Bluewater, Oxford Street has a great variety of shops for you to check out. If you don't mind the hustle and bustle of a few busy streets, then this is definitely something to consider!
Where do you usually shop for Christmas?
It's 18 days until Christmas!
Come back tomorrow for Blogmas day 8!
You're doing really well with your Xmas posts/blogmas. They're truly interesting, both creatively, and how festive you've thought of these. Well done. As you mentioned, I would recommend the German Market too. You get unique gifts there. However: 1. Save up - BIG TIME (for 1+ person gifts). 2. Beforehand, check the dates (for the Market). They either, stay longer, or, unfortunately, shorter sometimes. Plus, the local stores/markets have good unique finds sometimes. HOWEVER. For wrapping, crackers, etc. £1/$1+ stores, are good. With this, looking at, ex. Card places. Specialising in gifts. You can get deals, and maybe discounts, which is excellent!! Otherwise, for online shopping, I recommend(ed), to look at their delivery dates, ESPECIALLY the 'working day' one's. To be honest, good shopping can be, an example, to reserve and collect items, in store, - Argos (UK) is good. They, or some, have 'EBay collection' stores. Etsy is good. - vintage, handmade and...(something else, hehe). I don't like shopping either, but for others, to see them smile, and so, it does make it better. Take care :).
ReplyDeleteI deleted the Oxford St comment, (in this comment). But, I'd LOVE to see, and go to Oxford street. It's legendary :). I didn't remember, i mentioned that. The only difference is 'see', and 'go to', are swapped. Haha. Take care again. Shall view more of your posts soon. :)
