Jurassic World Dominion | Film Review

I am a huge fan of the Jurassic Park/World franchise, and always enjoy watching the movies even when they're not that great. So I was really looking forward to seeing this one. In a world where dinosaurs and humans co-exist, characters old and new find themselves once again battling both dinosaurs and humans to ensure that all creatures can continue to live in peace. That was a really hard description to write, mainly because this film doesn't really have a coherent plot. From the beginning of the film, there are so many location changes in such a short space of time that it starts to feel a bit disorienting. There were two storylines running alongside each other, and I found that I cared about one of the stories much more than the other, to the point that I was completely uninterested in the other story until the two were merged into one. The concept of humans having to escape from a dinosaur is one that will always be exciting, especially when the characters are ones that w...

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom | Film Review

Hey Guys x I went to see this at the weekend, pretty much based on how much I loved the first one. I remember the excitement that I felt in the cinema during the first one, and I really wanted it to be replicated during the sequel. It takes place three years after the Jurassic World theme park from the first film has been destroyed. The park lay on a dormant volcano. However, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing are brought back to the area when it is discovered that this volcano is not only active, but about to erupt. However, gettng the dinosaurs to safety isn't easy - especially when they discover sinister plans. Plans that involve the creation of new dinosaurs - plans that threaten the whole planet. I really enjoyed this film. In terms of the plot, it is made clear that there is a lot at stake, both for the dinosaurs and the people who care about them. This is particularly important because there had to be a really good reason for this story to make its way back around when ...

5 Films You Need To Watch! | 2

Hey Guys x I love recommending films! I'm really into movies and they're one of my favourite things to post about. So I thought I'd tell you about 5 more movies that you should definitely watch if you haven't already, because the ones that I have chosen are completely amazing! If you've seen any of the films that I recommend, let me know what you thought of them in the comments! Shelter I reviewed this last week, so you can read that post here ! It's about two homeless people who find each other in the most random way and decide to stick together. I can't describe how much I love this film and how grateful it made me feel. I have a roof over my head, food, water, the internet, everything I currently need to survive, and of course I've taken that for granted. If I didn't, I'd walk around staring at my surroundings in awe 24 hours a day! But still, it really puts things into perspective, and because of this, I think th...

Favourite Movie: Jurassic World The last post that I did was actually a review of this film, so you can click here to see that! But I thought this film was completely amazing! Without a doubt the best film I've seen this year, and I've seen a lot of films! You don't have to see the other Jurassic Park movies to see this, which was great for me as I can't really remember them well! Everyone needs to go and see this movie! Favourite TV Show: The Big Bang Theory Because I've finished school, I've had a lot of free time on my hands. So over 2 days last week, I watched the whole of the late...

Jurassic World | Film Review

Hey Guys x First of all, I'm posting on a Wednesday, which I haven't done in ages! I don't know if I'm going to be posting every Wednesday like I did before but I wanted to post this week! So, on Sunday I went to see Jurassic World. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much. I'm not the biggest fan of the original Jurassic Park movies - not that I don't like them, but I've always been more interested in different types of movies. But my mind was completely changed after seeing this! It is about a woman called Claire, who is the operations manager of the Jurassic World theme park. She has invited her two nephews (Zach and Gray) to visit the park and stay with her for a few days. While working, she comes into contact with Owen, a Velociraptor expert and trainer, and tells him about the newest dinosaur in the park. This dinosaur has been genetically mutated to scare the children at the park. However, messing with nature always has consequences, an...
