Book Review #41: Girl Online On Tour

Image
Hey Guys x Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I just had a really bad day! Anyway, I used my bad day to finally finish Zoe Sugg's latest novel, Girl Online On Tour. I've written a post about YouTuber books, so it's a bit ironic that this is the first book I'm reviewing in 2016! I reviewed the first Girl Online book, which you can see here . You might want to read that first because this book follows on from the first one. I just noticed that my first book reviews of both 2015 and 2016 have been Zoe's books. Anyway, let me get on with the review. I'm assuming that you know about Girl Online so, if you don't, this review might contain spoilers. Penny is back! And this time, everything's different. Penny's about to go on tour with Noah. Yes, following Brooklyn Boy around Europe seems like the best thing in the world! However, Penny soon finds that tour life isn't everything she thought it would be. She's alone, worried, and has no ...

December Favourites! | 2015

Hey Guys x It's the best time of the month, the time when I tell you guys all the things that I've been completely loving this month! I love reading these posts too, because it gives me inspiration for next month's favourites! So if you've written a December favourites post, comment your link below so I can read it! I hope you enjoy seeing what I've been loving in December! Favourite Movie: Clown If you didn't see yesterday's post, I got this film as a Christmas present from my mum, and we watched it literally the day after because both me and my sister thought it sounded really cool! It's basically about a man who puts on a clown costume (that he found in an empty house that he was selling - he's a realtor/estate agent) for his son's birthday party. However, when the party is over, he discovers that he can't get the costume off. But the longer he wears it, the more he feels himself changing. And the more hungry he gets... If you...

My Top 10 Favourite YouTubers | Part 3

Hey Guys x I have done this post twice already. But I realised that I haven't done one this year yet. And as my taste for YouTubers have changed so much within the last year, I thought that I would show you who I'm loving on the YouTube scene right now! It was so hard to decrease this list to just 10, and putting people in a rank order was really hard so don't read into it too much, because I had to leave a lot of my favourite YouTubers off the list! Also, please comment and let me know who you're loving! 10. Jim Chapman   Subscribers: 2,096,168   I am loving Jim at the moment, particularly his daily vlogs. I've said this before, but I just find having a peek at his life really interesting and I love the fact that he shares so much with his viewers! If you don't watch his daily vlogs, you really should!   Favourite Video: Don't Say It (With Tanya Burr)   9. Tanya Burr   Subscribers: 2,886,676   I have also been loving...

Book Review #33: Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

Image
Hey Guys!   This is my first post of 2015! And I'm kicking off 2015 with a book review. And what book is better to review than the last one that I have read?   To be honest, I have been quite a big fan of Zoe Sugg over the last few months. I'm not as big a fan of her now as when I began watching YouTubers, but I am still a fan, and I was really excited to get her book for Christmas!   The book is about a girl called Penny. In real life, she is shy, clumsy and generally awkward. Online however, is a different story. Penny runs an anonymous blog called 'Girl Online'. She uses this to blog about her embarrassing moments, friends and everything in between without her real friends (bar her best friend Elliot) ever finding out. A year later, thousands of followers and leading a (sort of) double life is treating Penny quite well. Apart from the panic attacks. Penny secretly suffers from panic attacks, and no matter what she does, she can't get rid of th...

My Top 10 YouTubers (Part 2)

My first 'top 10 youtubers' post here  was one of the first posts that I ever wrote, and looking back on it now, it feels weird to know that I didn't know how to put links in or how to close the gaps, and it makes me happy to see how far this blog has come. So I thought that it would only be right for me to update that post and let you see how much my favourites have changed! 10) Tanya Burr   Subscribers: 2,483,670   I love Tanya Burr! She was vlogging though September and she was my favourite YouTuber of the month. I just think that she's really genuine and so funny and bubbly. Although I'm not into make-up, I still watch all of her videos because  I love to watch her!   Favourite video: Baking White and Milk Chocolate Cookies   9) Connor Franta Subscribers: 3,372,914   Next up is Connor Franta. He left the collab channel O2L a few months ago (I think) and I really admired him for being able to make that decision, to do som...
