Happy Blogmas day 22 guys! So today's review is a film that I saw for the first time at the beginning of the month and it instantly made me feel happy and warm and fuzzy, in the way that Christmas should. So I thought that it was only fitting to review it this close to Christmas day! The film is about a songwriter called Gretta who goes to New York with her boyfriend, also a songwriter/singer, when he gets a record deal. However, for one reason or another, the pair break up. Leaving Gretta in New York with no idea of what to do next. Enter Dan, a record executive who discovers Gretta singing in a club just when he's searching for a new sound. Together, and with the help of some friends, they use New York City to make Gretta's first album. This film is beautiful, just beautiful.
