It feels like I did my February Favourites post really recently, I can't believe a month has already passed!

As I always say, I love doing these posts because I really enjoy getting together all of my favourite things so that I can share them with you guys.

And this month, I have some amazing things to share!

Favourite Movie: The Boy Next Door
 
If you haven't seen this, it's basically about a woman, who is considering getting back together with her ex husband (who she has a teenage son with), when she sleeps with a student. This turns out to be a big mistake as the student was not all he seemed.
This is a really good film, if you haven't seen it, then seriously watch it. It's a thriller but it's just such an interesting film. Although, if you're looking for a light-hearted film, this is not it! It is very intense, so be prepared for that!
 
Favourite TV Show: Family Guy
 
You probably know that I love Family Guy already, I've mentioned it so many times! However, I recently got the uncensored version of season 10, and re-watching all of the episodes has really made me happy. The uncensored episodes are so different from the ones that are shown on TV!
 
Favourite Song: Lay Me Down
 
I know I talk about Sam Smith a lot, but it is totally deserved! I heard this song on the radio last week, and within an hour, I had bought it on iTunes because I thought it was just so beautiful, and I've probably listened to it 5 times every day since I bought it. If you haven't heard it, listen to it on YouTube right now!
 
Favourite Youtuber: Bethan Leadley (MusicalBethan)
 
I have been introduced to Bethan through Dean Dobbs from Jack and Dean (of which the other half is Jack Howard) and I am in love with her. I just think she does really good videos, she has an amazing singing voice, and she just seems like a really nice person. I suggest watching one of her videos, you won't regret it!
 
Favourite Music Artist: McBusted
 
I love McBusted so much!! I was watching their cover of Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do' and I realised (once again) how incredible they are! They play their own music, have amazing voices and are just amazing! And (not that this is important) but how beautiful are their other halves? Giovanna Fletcher, Izzy Judd, Emma Willis, Georgia Jones (Horsley) and Ellie Goulding. Completely beautiful!!
 
Favourite Celebrity(s): The Kardashians
 
Since the new series began last week, I have been completely obsessed with the Kardashians! I just think that they're really interesting, and whether you like them or not, it's really nice to see how they live, and how their lives differ from 'normal' people!
 
Favourite YouTube Video: February (Hazel Hayes)
                                           
Hazel Hayes is doing this thing called 'time of the month', where she vlogs each month and uploads it. So although this is February, it was uploaded in March so it still counts! I love Hazel, I just think she's really down-to-earth, and it was really nice to see a bit of Louise (Sprinkle Of Glitter) because I love both of them together. Watch a bit of this if you haven't! (But maybe not all, because it's almost half an hour long, but trust me, it's all good!
 
(I didn't put in a favourite game because I didn't want to re-mention either sims of GTA)

When ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a roadhouse, he soon finds that his past is quickly catching up to him. I've never seen the original Road House, and when I put this one on I wasn't really planning to review it, but I found myself really getting into it. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Both the characters and the story were a lot more engaging and compelling than I thought they would be. The story sucked me in right from the beginning and I was interested the whole way through. The cast is great, but Jake Gyllenhaal completely carries the film and plays the character of Dalton really well. Again, I can't compare his performance to the original, but I really like the character. The fight scenes, which are pretty much what the film is about, are done really well. Wonka | Film Review

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I still definitely had problems with it! For a start, while I love the fact that it was a musical, I didn't actually like any of the actual songs. None of them really stood out (except the one that's already known) and having only seen the film yesterday, I can't remember any of them. In fact, while the songs didn't hurt the film, I also don't feel like they were completely necessary. I would have liked the film the same amount if it hadn't been a musical. Wonka is a really charming character, and Chalamet plays him really well. In fact, the entire cast is great - definitely the best thing about the film by a mile. The relationship b

Scarface (1983) | 100 Movies Bucket List

Next up for the Bucket List was another first-time watch! I'd seen the original 1932 film years ago and really liked it, but I never got around to watching this (undoubtedly more popular) version, so I'm glad it was on the list. I really really liked this movie. I'm not sure if I like it more than, or the same as the original, but I definitely had a great time with it. One thing about finally seeing all these classic movies is seeing how much impact they've had on pop culture, and this film is definitely no exception. It's so quotable, there are so many iconic images, and it's one that everyone should watch if they haven't seen it before. The most talked-about aspect of this film is probably the violence, and that's so interesting to see. Not only the way it's spoken about, but also the difference between violence in older films like this and newer releases. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. The Matrix | 100 Movies Bucket List

  Next up for the Bucket List was a first-time watch. This is one that I had obviously heard of but knew next to nothing about. I found that it took a long time for me to connect with the story, and even then, while the film was interesting to watch, I never felt particularly invested in it. There were a lot of recognisable, iconic moments that I appreciated, and I get how much of an impact it had on sci-fi (and probably movies in general), but I don't know if it was for me. I somewhat enjoyed it, I understood everything that happened, but never felt connected, and didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It could just be that I need to re-watch it, and I probably will, but for a first watch, I didn't take to it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I'm glad I finally watched it!
