Book Review #43: Always With love by Giovanna Fletcher

Image
Hey Guys x I finished reading this on Thursday but had to wait until today to review it, which gave me time to think about why I feel the way I do about it. And not to leave you in suspense, I LOVED it! Just so you know, this review will contain spoilers to both 'Billy and Me' and 'Christmas With Billy and Me' - so if you haven't read those, don't read this! Sophie, Billy and all the other characters you know and love are back, and this time, there's more to love! Sophie and Billy have gone to LA to visit (and for Sophie to meet!) his family. At first things are great! It's hot, there's nice restaurants and Disney and paps and fans and everything to make it a great first introduction to LA for Sophie. And they're only there for two weeks, so even if Sophie does hate it, she gets to go home and forget all about it soon right? Wrong! Because when the holiday comes to an end, Billy decides to extend his stay. And when their comfy relations...

Book Review #40: Dream A Little Christmas Dream by Giovanna Fletcher

Image
Hey Guys x This is Gi Fletcher's latest book, a short story that continues from 'Dream a Little Dream', which I reviewed here ! Personally, I think that the best thing Giovanna ever did was leave this story open for a sequel, it is my favourite story of hers and this sequel certainly does not disappoint! Just as a warning, if you haven't read 'Dream A Little Dream', but you're planning to, my review will probably contain spoilers, so you may not want to read it! It carries on from where the last book left off following Sarah Thompson, her gang of best friends, and her boyfriend Brett Last. It's now Christmas, and not much has changed within the group - until now. It seems that Christmas is the time when all of Sarah's friends have decided that it's time to grow up and to get serious about the future. Apart from Brett. Whenever Sarah brings up their future, the subject is always avoided. So what's going on with Brett? Can Sarah figur...

Book Review #37: Dream A Little Dream by Giovanna Fletcher

Hey Guys x First of all, I want to say a massive Happy Birthday to my blogging best friend Chloe!! Go over to her blog and wish her a huge happy birthday right now! Now, onto the review! When I got this book, I was so excited to read it! I've read every word that Gi has ever published, so getting this book was a no-brainer! Now, I saw a lot of reviews before actually reading this book, and everyone always said that it was the best book that she's ever written. But to be honest, I never believed that, thinking that people were just saying that because they're a fan of her. However, I can confirm that this is the best book that Giovanna has ever written! It is about a girl called Sarah. Her life at 29 isn't exactly where she thought it'd be. Her job isn't progressing, she's not in a relationship (not helped by the fact that she has to spend an uncomfortably long time around her ex boyfriend and his new 'perfect' girlfriend) and she doesn...

Book Review #31: Christmas With Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher

Image
I reviewed 'Billy and Me' here , so check it out before reading this review if you haven't already! I am so glad that Giovanna decided to write a sequel to Billy and Me because I was really curious to see what would happen after the first book ended! As well as this, because it is a short story (60 pages long) it was really quick and easy to read, but still gave me a lot of detail from Sophie and Billy. If you haven't read the first book, I'll try really hard not to give any spoilers for it, but I'm really sorry if I do! The book carries on from the first so I think it's kind of expected that the person reading has also read the first book.   Sophie May is in a completely different place to where she was in the first novel. Mentally. Physically, she still works at Tea-On-The-Hill, appropriately re-named 'Molly's-on-the-hill', but her mental attitude has completely changed. Quiet, anxious Sophie is now confident and standing on her own ...

Book Review #24: You're The One That I Want by Giovanna Fletcher

Image
Before I start this review, oh my gosh, this is my 25th review! I've done quarter of 100 reviews! Thanks if you've read, at least one of my reviews, it means a lot. Especially as books are probably my number 1 passion in life, just as writing is!     I am a huge fan of Giovanna Fletcher. I've said this so many times so I'm not going to repeat how much I love her, but I think I love this book as much as I love her! One of my favourite things about it is the front cover. I find the colours really calming and, although I don't like to judge books by their covers, but the covers really entice me to pick up a book and read it, they attract me. And although I would have bought this book no matter what the cover looked like, the cover just made me want to read it immediately!   This book is about Maddy, Rob and Ben, the tripod, as they call themselves. They're the ultimate threesome, best friends from the age of 9 and nothing was going to change. 17 years...

Book Review #14: Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher

Image
Giovanna Fletcher is someone that I love, as an author and a person. Of course, this is largely due to my obsession with McFly! Giovanna is married to Tom Fletcher from McFly and they now have a child together, called Buzz, who is the cutest baby ever! She's also the sister-in-law of one of my favourite female YouTubers, Carrie Hope Fletcher. I have her second book, 'You're The One That I Want' waiting for me to start reading, which you can see in my book haul ! Billy and Me is about a girl called Sophie May. Sophie has always lived in the same place, never wanting to try anything new. When all of her friends decide to go to university, Sophie decides against this, choosing to stay at home to look after her mum, working at the local tea-and-cake shop. But things change when Sophie finds out that a film crew is coming to her small town, to shoot a remake of 'Pride and Prejudice', one of Sophie's favourite books. The star of the film? Only Billy Buskin,...

Book Haul 1!!

I love books. I have too many books and will always choose to buy more rather than to give some away. Since my birthday, in December, until now, I have accumulated so many books that I haven't had a chance to read, so I thought I would use this post to show you some of the books that I have either bought or been given that I haven't had a chance to read.                                                         Joey Essex - Being Reem I am a big fan of TOWIE (The only way is Essex) and I enjoyed watching Joey when he was on it, so  knew that I had to buy his book. Although I haven't read it, I know that, as well as being light-hearted, he also touches on serious issues, such as the dea...
