Throwback Holiday | Blogmas Day 3
It’s Blogmas day 3! I saw this film on Amazon Prime and added it to my list because I recognised the two main actors from different TV shows, and was interested to see them work together. The premise, while not necessarily original for a Christmas movie, was interesting enough to warrant watching. While feeling unfulfilled with the way her life has turned out, a chance encounter with a former classmate causes Jacqueline (Jennifer Freeman) to wish to go back to high school for a do-over. The film throws a lot at the audience in such a short space of time, without making us really care about these characters. Neither the acting nor the writing is great. The plot doesn't hold up because the characters aren't well-written, and the characters don't work because the plot isn't great.
