Love Hard | Blogmas Day 1
Welcome to Blogmas day 1! This is a Netflix movie that came out in November. If I’m right, it was the start of Netflix's Christmas movies this year, so it seemed like the best one to start with. Also, it stars Nina Dobrev, who I’m a big fan of. After finding love on a dating app, Natalie (Nina Dobrev) flies to Josh's (Jimmy O'Yang) hometown to visit him for Christmas, only to discover that she's been catfished. I really liked the premise of this film. It is a really modern take on the usual Christmas rom-com genre, and it did seem like the filmmakers wanted to make it original. I love all the characters, particularly the two main characters, and Josh’s family. Even the characters that we’re not really supposed to like are well-written and serve their purpose. For me, this was a great movie to start Blogmas with because it allows you to build up your anticipation and excitement for Christmas without hitting you over the head with it.
