This year has felt both slow and quick at the same time - I've been in such a rush to get to Christmas, and now that we're here it definitely feels like it went too quickly.  I have no idea what any of my stats are - but before I look them up, I'd guess that I watched more movies than last year, but probably watched less shows and read less books, so let's see! Movies Watched: 510 New TV Shows Started: 16 TV Shows Finished:  9 Books Read: 21 Blog Posts Written: 220 And I was right - I've watched less shows this year than last year, and finished even less! I'm halfway through watching so many different shows that I'm surprised I've even finished 9! That said, I've really enjoyed most of the shows I've started this year and hopefully for next year's post some of them will be included in the finished section! This has been a really full-on year, and it feels so quick to be writing my last post. As I'm writing this, it's not even Christmas yet so being in the headspace of the last day of the year feels so strange! It's been my best year in so many areas of the stats below, I've beaten so many goals and it's been so much fun! Movies Watched: 483 New TV Shows Started:  18 TV Shows Finished:  11 Books Read:  22 Blog Posts Written: 235 First of all, the movies. Because of the 100 Movies Bucket List, I ended up watching more movies than usual, and the range of movies I've been watching is so much wider than what I usually watch. I've seen some amazing movies, new and old, and it's also great that some of the best movies I've seen this year are movies that I'm not even reviewing until 2025 - it makes me feel like next year will be another great year for film. I can't believe this is my last post of 2023! It feels like every year just goes quicker and quicker. It's been a good blogging year for me, but I definitely have plans to make 2024 better - including a year-long movie challenge! But before the year ends, here are my yearly stats: Movies Watched: 451 New TV Shows Started:  10 TV Seasons Finished:  12 Books Read:  20 Blog Posts Written:  127 This year I've started a few less shows, but have focused on finishing the current shows I'm watching, and have got through a lot more limited series, which has been fun. This is maybe the most movies I've watched in a year ever, and I'm hoping to increase those numbers next year, but I'll see how it goes! I'd also really like to read more books next year. 20 was my goal and I reached that by mid-December, so hopefully next year I'll be able to fit a few more in!  I can't believe we're on another 'Goodbye' post - 2022 has gone so quickly! I know it feels like that every year, but this one feels especially quick for some reason. Here are my yearly stats: Movies Watched: 401 TV Shows Started: 18 TV Shows Finished: 15 Books Read: 15 Blog Posts Written: 113 My numbers are a bit weird this year. I've watched more films than last year, but I've read fewer books and written fewer posts - a definite sign that I've been feeling less creative this year. So that's my goal for the next year - to be more creative. I want to write more (posts and other things), and I definitely want to read more. But I'm very happy with the number of films I've seen. And that's 2022 on Lou's World! I hope you all have an amazing new year - bring on 2023!

2021 has been a weird year. I can't remember the last time a year has gone so quickly. Even though things have happened, it feels like the end of 2020 could have been yesterday!  Here are my 2021 stats: Movies Watched:  384 TV Shows Started:  18 TV Shows Finished:  13 Books Read:  25 Blog Posts Written:  144 I'm really happy with my numbers this year. I definitely didn't realise how many shows I'd finished or Blog Posts I'd written! For next year, I'm really hoping that my book numbers go up - I'm really looking forward to getting into my 2022 reading list! And that's it for 2021 on the blog!  Hey Guys x I feel like it's pretty universal that 2020 is a year nearly everyone wants to see the back of, for many understandable reasons. 2020 has been a weird one for me - while it definitely hasn't been easy, I also haven't been as worse off as other people, and for that I'm grateful. But as usual at the end of the year, here are my 2020 stats: Movies Watched: 381 TV Shows Started: 21 TV Shows Finished: 8 Books Read: 28 Blog Posts Written: 100 Creatively, this year has taken a toll on me, so some of these numbers aren't as high as they usually are. But I've also given myself the space to do nothing when I don't have to do anything - rather than forcing myself to watch a movie or start a TV show, and taking this pressure off of myself has been really helpful. I'm also really happy that I managed to read 28 books this year, which is double the amount of last year. I have read some great books this year, and I can't wait to start making my way...

Hey Guys x This isn't going to be a long post, but something that I've done for the last 2 years is to write out my 'Statistics' - the list of things that I keep track of over the year. And I especially wanted to do it because not only is it the end of the year, but the end of the Decade. So I want to remember my 2019 with these numbers. Movies Watched:  396 TV Shows Started:  34 TV Shows Finished:  24 Cinema Trips:  19 Books Read:  14 Fanfic Chapters Uploaded:  133 Blog Posts Written:  143 Looking back on last year, nearly every number (other than blog posts written and TV Shows) is lower, and as this is the first year that I've had a full-time job, I'm really happy with what I've done this year.
