Passengers | Blogmas Day 2
Happy Blogmas Day 2 guys! Here we have, the first film review of the Blogmas season on this blog. There's no particular reason that I started Blogmas with this movie, so I hope that you enjoy my review of it! This film is about a group of people travelling from Earth to a different planet to live and populate a new society, but it takes many many years to get there, so the passengers are put to sleep for however many years it takes. However, Jim Preston, a mechanic on the ship, is accidentally woken up 90 years too early. With no way to go back to sleep, and no way to get off the ship, there's nothing that he can do but wait. However, after a year alone, he begins to go stir-crazy. Can he really spend the next 90 years alone on the ship? And what does the lovely Aurora Lane have to do with this? That's the vaguest description ever, but I don't want to give ANYTHING away! This film got a lot of negativity when it came out, so I really didn't expect it...
