Iris's (Molly Gordon) first getaway with her boyfriend hits a snag when Isaac (Logan Lerman) reveals that he's not looking for a serious relationship. I was looking forward to this one. Back when the trailer first came out it looked really unique and fun, so I made a note to check it out when it was released. I liked this film a lot. I liked it instantly. The main characters had a great introduction, so I was really happy to follow them and see how their story continued. And it worked so well because the actors had a great, specific chemistry that worked with the plot of the film. It may not have worked if this was a straightforward romance, but because there's so much going on here, their interactions are believable. But that's also because it's really well written. The dialogue in particular feels really authentic, and the pacing was great. It moves really quickly and finishes at just the right point.
