My Top 10 YouTubers (Part 2)

My first 'top 10 youtubers' post here  was one of the first posts that I ever wrote, and looking back on it now, it feels weird to know that I didn't know how to put links in or how to close the gaps, and it makes me happy to see how far this blog has come. So I thought that it would only be right for me to update that post and let you see how much my favourites have changed! 10) Tanya Burr   Subscribers: 2,483,670   I love Tanya Burr! She was vlogging though September and she was my favourite YouTuber of the month. I just think that she's really genuine and so funny and bubbly. Although I'm not into make-up, I still watch all of her videos because  I love to watch her!   Favourite video: Baking White and Milk Chocolate Cookies   9) Connor Franta Subscribers: 3,372,914   Next up is Connor Franta. He left the collab channel O2L a few months ago (I think) and I really admired him for being able to make that decision, to do som...

Book Review #22: The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes

Image
If you don't watch YouTubers videos, or haven't heard of Alfie Deyes, then this book may have just gone over your head. But to the fans of Alfie (including myself) this was an exciting buy! I talked about this book in Monday's post, 'Bookshelf tour' and I said that it was going to be today's review. I have to say, this is not the type of book that I have reviewed so far, as it isn't a novel.   This is what I, and most people call an interactive book.   This book is 192 pages of fun activities to do when you have nothing else to do. This sounds bad, but this is what the book was designed to do. Give you a few hours of something 'pointless' to do to make your time a little less pointless. And it certainly serves it's purpose! The pages are so inventive and interesting. My favourite thing about this book is that some of the pages really take on the word 'interactive'! If you get 'The Pointless App' (free from the app ...

Bookshelf Tour Part 1!

Image
This blog idea is completely inspired by Carrie Hope Fletcher. She did her bookshelf tour in a video here and I loved it, so I thought I'd do my own version of it. This is just part one and trust me, they'll be a lot of parts! Today's post is the first of 5 columns of one bookshelf. I have 3 bookshelves in my house to get through, which could take a while! I'll also just be giving you a slight background of each book, either a mini  review of an overview of where/how I got it. I've also reviewed a lot of the books, so I'll leave the link to my review within my overview. What Carrie also did, which I liked, was that she kept a record of the books that she had and hadn't read, so I think I'll do the same. That way I can keep a track of the books that I'm going to read in the future, as well as the ones that I'm going to be reviewing! Enjoy looking through the first part of my bookshelf (I use the term 'shelf' very loosely!) ...

July Favourites!

Image
I can't believe I'm saying this, but this post is my 4th 'favourites' post! I can't believe that I've been blogging this long. I remember when blogging was something that I was scared to do because I thought that no one would care what I had to say. If you've even read one post, let alone more than one post, thank you so much. I hope you enjoy what I've enjoyed this month! Favourite Movie: Oculus I only saw this a few days ago, but I loved it so much that I had to put it in. However, if you're a horror enthusiast like me you may be disappointed. The film didn't scare me at all, which is something that I look for in good horror movies. The reason that I loved this was because of the story. I liked the way it was portrayed and I love the fact that you couldn't guess what would happen in the end. Favourite TV Show: Two And A Half Men I. Am. Obsessed. I watch this show at least once every day, sometimes I watch the same episode on ...

The Youtuber Questions, Awards and Families Tag!!

It's time for another tag! I thought that, as I have been horrible at posting this week, rather than posting a review, I would post something that's a bit more fun and that I could spend a bit of time on. I have independently created a tag that I want as many of you reading to do as possible. I have created 29 questions, strictly about youtubers that fall into 3 categories: Questions based on you, Youtuber Awards and Your YouTube family. Feel free to read through my questions and them do them for your own blogs! As there are a lot of questions, I'll keep my explanations short but feel free to expand on yours! Questions about You! Favourite Female Youtuber? At the moment, my favourite female youtuber is Zoe Sugg (Zoella) as I am addicted to watching her vlogs and she really makes me want to start a youtube channel. She actually inspired me to start this blog. Favourite Male Youtuber? Going hand-in-hand with Zoe Sugg is her brother Joe Sugg. Choosing this was a much...

My Top 10 YouTubers!

My favourite YouTubers! Many of you may not know this, but I am a huge fan of YouTubers. I literally spend all of the spare time that I have stalking them on twitter and watching/re-watching their videos. So I thought that I would put some of my favourites into this blog, by letting you know who I consider to be my top 10! 10. Tanya Burr Subscribers: 2,044,318 Tanya Burr is at number 10! Although she is a fashion and beauty guru, which doesn't interest me (as I am as far from fashionable as one could be) what I love about Tanya is her bubbly personality. Watching her for  5 minutes could instantly make me smile from ear to ear without fail. She is also inspirational as she found something she liked (Doing make-up) and made it her profession. She now has a range of 'lips and nails' products on sale in Superdrug and it is hard not to be proud of her after seeing how hard she has worked for what she now has. Favourite Video: "'What is it?' Challenge wit...
