How To | Unique Blog Header

Image
Hey Guys x When I changed up my blog design, a lot of you guys said that you wanted to see how I did it, so I thought I'd take some screenshots to show you exactly what I did, starting with my header! Now, because I blog on blogger and have not bought a domain name, I am using the blogger template, having said that, I still managed to customise it a bit so it looks exactly the way I want it to look. But I'll show you how I did my background in another post. However, my header was completely my own design, so I'll show you how I did that first! My Header Before I start, I did my header using a tutorial that I found on Abi's blog here ! But I'll break it down a bit more so that mine isn't completely the same, as some of the things that I did didn't come from Abi's post. I'm also not going to show my exact header design, I'll just make a sample one. First of all, you need to use the website ' PicMonkey ' (if you have a better o...

Blogmas Day 20: How To React To Bad Presents!

Image
Of course, all presents have sentimental value, and it's the thought that counts. Nevertheless, we have all had those times when we have to pretend to be really excited about a present that we absolutely hate. So I came up with a few different ways to react when we receive one of these horrible presents. I hope you enjoy my responses! The 'Oh Wow' response This is the one where you pretend that what you have just opened is the best present you've ever received and that you will never a present this amazing for the net 325 years. Cue wide eyes and a mouth that cannot shut. I think this is the reaction that is most appreciated by whoever gave you the present, but it's also the least realistic reaction and your relatives may not even believe it in the first place. The 'Thank You' response This is the response that's the easiest to do. You literally just keep repeating 'thank you' over and over again. It tells your relative that you a...

Blogmas Day 7: How To Get Excited For Christmas

Image
I know that there are a lot of you guys who are, maybe, not as excited for Christmas as your friends and family. So I thought I'd give you some things to do that can help you get excited for the Christmas period that we are currently in! - Listen to Christmas Music   Seriously, since December hit, Christmas music has been playing anywhere and everywhere. Find an album on YouTube, plug your headphones in and just listen. It should make you really excited for the Christmas Period.   - Watch Some Christmas Movies   Nothing gets you into the mood for Christmas like a good Christmas Movie. Whether it's Elf, The Grinch, or Love Actually, all Christmas films should have something about them that makes you wish it was Christmas right now!   - Go Christmas Shopping   As much as I rant about it, shopping for Christmas presents for all of your friends can really make you excited for the day itself. Not least because you'll be wond...

How To: Survive In A Horror Movie

As Halloween is coming up, I have been watching a lot of scary movies and noticing that there are always things that people do that get them killed. I honestly think that, if I was in a horror movie, I would survive whatever the killer could throw at me. So I thought I'd give you my tips, so that you too can survive a horror movie! Don't Split Up I can't stress this enough, when a group of friends are being hunted by a killer, splitting up ensures that a few of them will be killed. Nothing good has EVER come from a group splitting up. Sticking together is key!   Don't look for the killer This also goes for walking into a house and screaming 'hello'. If you go looking for the killer, you will not find them, they will find you! If you shout 'hello?' when there should be no one home, you will not find what you are looking for, and you'll just alert the killer to where you are. If you hear a strange noise when you're home alone, in a ho...
