Book Review #12: He's After Me by Chris Higgins
I am a big fan of Chris Higgins' books. She wrote 5 books that I read when I was younger (like 12-13) and I completely loved them. They were called '32C That's Me', 'Pride and Penalties', 'it's a 50/50 thing', 'A Perfect 10' and 'Love ya babe'. I was completely in love with them, but they are aimed at a much younger audience than I am now. This is why I was so happy when this book came out, because it is aimed at an older audience, which I could tell from the cover of the book. I was really looking forward to reading this. The book is about sisters Anna and Livi. They're parents are split up and their dad has a new girlfriend, who they hate. Then they meet Jem. He pops up in the most convenient position and seems to sweep both of them off their feet. But Anna's best friend doesn't trust him, and neither does their father. Are they being protective and jealous, or is there something about Jem that isn't what it seem...
