Random Acts of Kindness
How kind are you? I was thinking all day about what to write a post about today, which is why this post is so late. Listening to the radio, I remembered that within the last few weeks, it was 'Random Acts of Kindness' day (I'm not sure when exactly, let me know in the comments), but it made me think. Why do we need a special day to be kind to each other? I think that it would be nice if people did at least one act of kindness every day. However, I am in no way saying that this is something that I do. It's hard to do this all the time, especially when the only people around you are people that you hate (such as at school). Carrie Fletcher started something along this theme called 'The Hopeful Notes' (twitter @thehopefulnotes) where she encouraged her viewers to leave post-it notes around the country with nice messages on them, for another Hopeful to find and tweet about.
