My Top 10 YouTubers (Part 2)

My first 'top 10 youtubers' post here was one of the first posts that I ever wrote, and looking back on it now, it feels weird to know that I didn't know how to put links in or how to close the gaps, and it makes me happy to see how far this blog has come. So I thought that it would only be right for me to update that post and let you see how much my favourites have changed!

10) Tanya Burr

I love Tanya Burr! She was vlogging though September and she was my favourite YouTuber of the month. I just think that she's really genuine and so funny and bubbly. Although I'm not into make-up, I still watch all of her videos because  I love to watch her!

9) Connor Franta

Next up is Connor Franta. He left the collab channel O2L a few months ago (I think) and I really admired him for being able to make that decision, to do something that might upset the people around him, so he could find his own happiness. And I do have to say that there is a noticeable change in his videos since he left O2L, and you can tell how much happier he is with them!

8) Alfie Deyes

Alfie is another YouTuber who is currently daily vlogging. He recently wrote 'The Pointless Book' and has done one signing for it, planning to do another one in New York. I'm really proud of him because he's come so far, and I can't wait to see where he goes next! (Metaphorically, not literally)

7) Tyler Oakley

I have been loving Tyler Oakley through 'Auguest' and am still loving him now it's over. I love his video ideas, but I also love when he just sits and talks to the camera, especially his Q and Slays!

6) Carrie Fletcher

Carrie was the first Youtuber that I ever watched, and I still watch all of her videos. I love her. I love her attitude towards life and her singing voice. She's a genuine person and I can't wait to see what else she comes out with!

5) Niomi Smart

Niomi is still relatively a newtuber but I already love her! I love the fact that she doesn't fit into a specific category yet. She isn't a beauty guru or a foodie or a comedy and skits person, she can do a bit of everything, and she does it so well!

4) Zoe Sugg

The first thing I have to say: ZOELLA BEAUTY! I haven't tried any of her products yet, but they look amazing and I really want to try them soon! She has just hit 6 million subscribers and her profile is just growing and growing, and there's literally no stopping her!

3) Marcus Butler

I have always loved Marcus Butler, he is definitely one of the first YouTubers I subscribed to and have watched every video since! His vlogs make me so happy, and I love watching them every evening, even when he does completely mundane things. I find him really interesting and love his relationship with Niomi!

2) Louise Pentland (Spinkle Of Glitter)

Louise, aka Sprinkle Of Glitter, is literally amazing, and a massive inspiration to me with this blog. I don't know what it is about her, but I identify with her a lot and admire how strong she is, with all the things that have happened in her life. I am so happy that she has announced a 'Glitter' tour and I really wish I was going!

Taking the number one spot this time is Joe Sugg! He is close to 3 million subscribers and these are so deserved! I love him, am in love with him and I am so proud of the amount of success that he has gained since he started his YouTube channel only 2 years ago! His success is going to grow immensely and I am so excited for him!

A creative writing assignment complicates the relationship between a teacher (Martin Freeman) and his student (Jenna Ortega). I heard about this film maybe once and remember being interested in it, but then I never heard anything about it again. So when I saw it was available to rent/buy on Prime Video, I decided to give it a shot.  I don't know what to make of this one. I didn't hate it, but there wasn't a lot to like. American Psycho | 100 Movies Bucket List

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Though saying that, I knew that I probably would watch it again eventually, because I knew how much of a classic it was. Like a lot of films I've watched for the Bucket List, I liked it more this time around than I did the first time, though I still didn't love it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I did really enjoy it. The writing was great and Christian Bale was amazing in the role, as were the supporting actors. For me, though, the most iconic thing about this movie is its soundtrack. The songs used are amazing and fit the movie so well. They're used in such a unique, original way, that it feels like this alone makes the movie a classic. The film is really well made, and even though I don't love i

Snatch | 100 Movies Bucket List

I'd never heard of this film before last year, when I watched it for the first time, so this time around was my second watch. Guy Richie's movies tend to be a bit hit-or-miss for me. This is one of the only ones where I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other. I didn't love the story, it didn't hold my interest the whole way through. But one thing that I absolutely loved was the dialogue. It was smart, quippy and made the film a much more fun watch than the plot itself would suggest. Another thing I absolutely loved was Brad Pitt's performance. This was probably one of my favourite roles of his. He did a great job with the character, and it was really different to everything else I've seen him in. But that being said, all of the performances were great. For me, if I had to guess why this film is considered a classic, it would 100% be because of the script and performances, rather than the film as a whole. It was the script that kept me locked in and

My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it.
