6 Months!!

I seem to say 'Thank You' quite a lot, but I really do feel like it's needed.
 
So, I have been blogging for half a freaking year! That may seem like no time at all to you, and it probably isn't, but to someone who never finds something that they really enjoy for more than a few weeks, that is amazing!
 
When I started this blog, I didn't really know what I would do with it or where it would go. Obviously I wanted people to read it (because otherwise I would have written a diary!) but I never started it to get free things or to have huge amounts of followers, as I've said before.
 
My first post was called 'Being You' and I cringe at it now because I feel like I had no clue what I was doing! And although I have better design and photography skills than I had six months ago, I still have no idea what I'm doing.
 
I'm not a beauty blogger or a fashion blogger. I don't know whether I'm a lifestyle blogger or not, but you get what I mean, I don't fit into a category. That's both good and bad.
 
The bad is that, some of you guys reading may not really get my blog, or me. But I'd rather you not get me than you only read my blog because I'm blogging about something that I don't care about.
 
The good is that, I can literally write about whatever I want. As well as that, I have found a lot of you guys who do what I do, blog about whatever you want to blog about, which is awesome. Blogging has made me some friends and I love commenting on blogs, it's one of my favourite hobbies!
 
Who doesn't like to read a nice comment on something that's an extension of themselves. Which is why I value comments above everything else. Your nice comments make me feel great about what I'm doing.
 
If you've ever left me a nice comment, or said something nice about 'Lou's World' on twitter or the Hopeful Forum, then I want to thank you because it has meant the world to me. And I know I say 'Thank you' a hell of a lot, but I would never say it if I didn't mean it.
 
Blogging has taken over my life in the best way possible. When I'm at college, I doodle post ideas in the back of an exercise book. When I'm out and about, I wish I had a good camera so that I could take pictures for my next post.
 
I actually think that starting a blog was the best decision that I ever made in my life. I love to write, but writing a story and writing a blog are completely different. My blog is the only thing I write that is an extension of me, and I love the fact that I can share that with all of you!

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Miller's Girl | Film Review

A creative writing assignment complicates the relationship between a teacher (Martin Freeman) and his student (Jenna Ortega). I heard about this film maybe once and remember being interested in it, but then I never heard anything about it again. So when I saw it was available to rent/buy on Prime Video, I decided to give it a shot.  I don't know what to make of this one. I didn't hate it, but there wasn't a lot to like. The only thing I did like was that Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega worked really well together and had good chemistry. I'd love to see them work together again, in a film with a better plot and a less weird (platonic) relationship. The characters are written really weirdly. There were many moments when they said things that were just so unbelievable, especially Jenna Ortega's character, Cairo. Snatch | 100 Movies Bucket List

I'd never heard of this film before last year, when I watched it for the first time, so this time around was my second watch. Guy Richie's movies tend to be a bit hit-or-miss for me. This is one of the only ones where I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other. I didn't love the story, it didn't hold my interest the whole way through. But one thing that I absolutely loved was the dialogue. It was smart, quippy and made the film a much more fun watch than the plot itself would suggest. Another thing I absolutely loved was Brad Pitt's performance. This was probably one of my favourite roles of his. He did a great job with the character, and it was really different to everything else I've seen him in. But that being said, all of the performances were great. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3.
