Do you believe in love at first sight?
Not really. I believe in lust at first sight, as in being very physically attracted to someone the first time you see them. But there is no way to know anything about someone's personality by looking at them. Even the nicest looking people can turn out to be really horrible on the inside.

What do you do for fun?
Except from blogging, I read a lot, I write a lot (posts, fan fictions and working on a novel), and outside of the house, I'm a big fan of just, like, movies and cinema. Films are amazing and I love seeing how certain movies make me feel, and recently, I've got into how they are made as well, such as the production, editing, directing etc. I'm also really into comedy sitcoms and shows. Right now I'm loving Brooklyn 99 and Psych, to name two!

Do you want/do you have any children?
I don't have any children, but I've always said that the only two certainties that I want in my life are to write a book and to have children. They are both very important things to me!

What are you looking for in a relationship?
I want to find someone who appreciates me and loves me for all of my awkwardness and weirdness, because there's a lot of it! But I also want someone who supports my passions and has passions of their own that I could support. And I want someone who sees me as an equal, because that's really important!

What is the one thing about yourself that you would like me to know?
I'm on my laptop a lot, either blogging, watching YouTube or writing something, so you'll have to be willing to put up with that!

If you won a lottery, how would you spend your millions?
This is a hard question! I would pay my uni fees outright so I wouldn't have to take out loans. That would be first as I need to sort out my student finance very soon!

Which was the first crush you ever had?
On a celebrity, it was a guy called Richard Fleeshman who used to be in Coronation Street and was also on Soapstar Superstar, which was a show AGES ago!

You have got six months to live, what will you do first?
I want to go somewhere that I've never been before. There's so many places that I've never been and I really want to do a bit of travelling in the future!

Are you a morning person or a night person?
Definitely a morning person. I'm the girl that will go to bed between 10 and midnight, but cannot sleep past 8.30 am, which is ridiculous! Although it does mean that I can get a lot done in the mornings! (Such as writing blog posts!)

If you have friends coming over, what would you cook?
I would either make steak or fried chicken. These are two things that I cook quite regularly. In fact, it would probably be fried chicken because everyone seems surprised that I make it from scratch rather than just getting it from a fast food place.

If you could travel back through time, what single mistake would you correct in life?
I can't think of anything! Actually, I probably would have chosen photography for A levels rather than ICT!

Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Well, I want to see myself being an author, hopefully having at least one book out, which would make me really happy! I'd also like to be in a stable relationship, but as I'll only be 23, that might not be a big thing for me at that time!

    I agree, I don't really think someone can fall in love at first sight. It's more of a physical attraction because once you get to know the person you can be really lucky and they'll be just as amazing as you thought or they end up being a total jerk and not at all what you expected.

When ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a roadhouse, he soon finds that his past is quickly catching up to him. I've never seen the original Road House, and when I put this one on I wasn't really planning to review it, but I found myself really getting into it. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Both the characters and the story were a lot more engaging and compelling than I thought they would be. The story sucked me in right from the beginning and I was interested the whole way through. The cast is great, but Jake Gyllenhaal completely carries the film and plays the character of Dalton really well. Again, I can't compare his performance to the original, but I really like the character. The fight scenes, which are pretty much what the film is about, are done really well. Wonka | Film Review

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I still definitely had problems with it! For a start, while I love the fact that it was a musical, I didn't actually like any of the actual songs. None of them really stood out (except the one that's already known) and having only seen the film yesterday, I can't remember any of them. In fact, while the songs didn't hurt the film, I also don't feel like they were completely necessary. I would have liked the film the same amount if it hadn't been a musical. Wonka is a really charming character, and Chalamet plays him really well. In fact, the entire cast is great - definitely the best thing about the film by a mile. The relationship b

Scarface (1983) | 100 Movies Bucket List

Next up for the Bucket List was another first-time watch! I'd seen the original 1932 film years ago and really liked it, but I never got around to watching this (undoubtedly more popular) version, so I'm glad it was on the list. I really really liked this movie. I'm not sure if I like it more than, or the same as the original, but I definitely had a great time with it. One thing about finally seeing all these classic movies is seeing how much impact they've had on pop culture, and this film is definitely no exception. It's so quotable, there are so many iconic images, and it's one that everyone should watch if they haven't seen it before. The most talked-about aspect of this film is probably the violence, and that's so interesting to see. Not only the way it's spoken about, but also the difference between violence in older films like this and newer releases. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. The show revolves around a family, Paul and Cate Hennessy, and their children Bridget, Kerry and Rory. In the second season, the father in the show died (due

The Matrix | 100 Movies Bucket List

  Next up for the Bucket List was a first-time watch. This is one that I had obviously heard of but knew next to nothing about. I found that it took a long time for me to connect with the story, and even then, while the film was interesting to watch, I never felt particularly invested in it. There were a lot of recognisable, iconic moments that I appreciated, and I get how much of an impact it had on sci-fi (and probably movies in general), but I don't know if it was for me. I somewhat enjoyed it, I understood everything that happened, but never felt connected, and didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It could just be that I need to re-watch it, and I probably will, but for a first watch, I didn't take to it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I'm glad I finally watched it!
