Adventures In Winter Wonderland!

Image
First of all, please look up and check out my new header! I have wanted one for ages but never knew how to do it, until I had a conversation with Abi about it. She helped me with it and has since put up a tutorial for it, which you can view here ! Currently, I completely love mine! But now that I know how to do it, I might play around with it soon, so don't be surprised if it changes! Let me know what you think in the comments below! Anyway, I'll get on with the post now... To celebrate New Years Eve, myself and a group of friends went to Winter Wonderland in London. Because we all live in London, going for a day out in London may seem a bit strange, but even though we live here, we don't really go around London a lot, especially not together, so this was a really nice idea! As this was our last day out of 2014, everyone was taking pictures! (Apart from me as I forgot my camera!) So I am going to show you (with my friends permission!) all of the pictures that w...

Book Review #33: Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

Image
Hey Guys!   This is my first post of 2015! And I'm kicking off 2015 with a book review. And what book is better to review than the last one that I have read?   To be honest, I have been quite a big fan of Zoe Sugg over the last few months. I'm not as big a fan of her now as when I began watching YouTubers, but I am still a fan, and I was really excited to get her book for Christmas!   The book is about a girl called Penny. In real life, she is shy, clumsy and generally awkward. Online however, is a different story. Penny runs an anonymous blog called 'Girl Online'. She uses this to blog about her embarrassing moments, friends and everything in between without her real friends (bar her best friend Elliot) ever finding out. A year later, thousands of followers and leading a (sort of) double life is treating Penny quite well. Apart from the panic attacks. Penny secretly suffers from panic attacks, and no matter what she does, she can't get rid of th...

Blogging Schedule Changes

Image
Hey Guys. If you've been reading my blog since before Blogmas, then you'll know that I usually have a strict blogging schedule. I normally post normal posts on Monday's and once at the weekend, then on Wednesdays I post Book reviews, and on Fridays, I post Girl Talks. And for the last 8 months, that has worked well. But I have to be honest with you guys. Finding things to write about for the 'Girl Talk' posts has been SO hard! Firstly, most of you guys are girls, so it's hard to not talk about what I have already been talking about. Secondly, the one thing that I have always said about Lou's World is that I do not want to fit into a category. However, the Girl Talks tend to be about fashion etc. Obviously I don't mind posting about fashion I like it, but I don't want be forced to talk about something that I may not feel that passionate about (forced by myself). So, starting in 2015, I won't be posting Girl Talks every Friday. I will...

What I Got For Christmas!

Image
DISCLAIMER: This post is in no way me bragging about what I got. Instead, I'm showing how awesome my friends and family are and how grateful I am! I am so grateful for all of the presents that I got this year! They were all amazing!   This was given to me by an auntie. As I'm beginning to slowly experiment with make-up, I found this really useful! Here's what is inside it:  (Lip... stuff)  (Eye shadow) I love these all so much! Especially the nail varnishes! This is a shower gel and bath bomb set from one of my best friends, and I love it so much! I love the fact that the bottle of shower gel looks like champagne and it just looks beautiful. I used a bath bomb yesterday and after it fizzes out, it leaves little traces of glitter in the bath, which is beautiful! I got this notepad and pen from my best friend Lilly. If you can't see it properly, it says: 'Friends are like flowers, they brighte...
