Anything's Possible | Film Review

I knew nothing about this movie until it came out on Amazon Prime Video, but I instantly liked the premise, so I thought I'd give it a try.

When Khal (Abubakr Ali) falls for transgender classmate Kelsa (Eva Reign), he decides to ask her out despite the drama it could cause.

I really liked this movie.

For a start, I loved Kelsa as a character. Not only is she well-written, interesting and fun to watch, but I loved seeing her relationships with the people in her life.

Kelsa and Khal have a great friendship/relationship. The characters and actors have great chemistry, and are adorable to watch.

The story itself is really sweet, and easy to watch.

The film deals with complex issues in an interesting way. It doesn't delve too deeply, but you can sympathise with the characters because they're so relatable, even if you haven't gone through the specific issues that they have.

The 3rd act conflict is a good one. While a bit predictable, it's not necessarily easily solved.

Ultimately, this is an original story wrapped in a more typical teen rom com. A lovely, easy watch, definitely worth seeing.

7/10
