December Favourites!

I had my first day off blogging all month yesterday, and I spent all day wishing that I was blogging!

Anyway, I have a lot of plans for 2015, and the days leading up to it (blogging every day... I know I've already done blogmas, but I might as well end December in the way I began it!), so let's kick of the next 4 blogging days with my December Favourites!

Favourite Movie: Back To The Future

 
This movie is one of 3 of my all-time favourite movies, but it is also in my December Favourites. With me, I can never watch my favourite movies a lot because it evokes all of these different feelings and I have to really be in the mood to sit down with no distractions and watch it. So I watched this for the first time in months last week and it was just as amazing as I remembered it. If you haven't seen this, I really urge you to watch it.
 

Favourite TV Show: Sex And The City

 
I think I have mentioned this in a 'Favourites' before, but I have been watching this on repeat for the last few weeks and I just love it so much! Obviously, if you're under 15 you can't watch it, but if you're over, just try out a few episodes. It isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I really love it!
 

Favourite Song: Nightingale

 
I bought Demi Lovato's album as a birthday present for myself and I am literally in love with every song! Nightingale is one of my favourite songs on the album because it is just such a beautiful song and Demi sounds amazing on it!
 

Favourite YouTuber: Louise Pentland

 
First of all, can I just comment on how gorgeous she looks in this picture? Amazing! But yes, Louise, aka Sprinkle Of Glitter, is this month's favourite (As well as Jack Howard, but I couldn't put him for 2 months in a row!). I could rant and rave for ages about why I love Louise, and I will. But not now. In the new year, I'm going to do a post all about why Louise inspires me. It's going to get really deep and it will probably be my most personal post so far, so look out for that in January!
 

Favourite Game: Cluedo

 
I had never played this game until Christmas day, and I love it so much! I am really into mystery tv shows, such as criminal minds, so playing this game is just so fun for me!
 

Favourite Music Artist: Demi Lovato

 
I know I've already spoken about her in this post, so I won't repeat what I've already said. But if you get a chance, listen to the album Demi because it's incredible!
 

Favourite Celebrity: Khloe Kardashian

 
I am in love with the show 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians', and Khloe is definitely my favourite Kardashian right now. I switch between Kourtney and Khloe, but right now it's Khloe. Of course 'The Kardashians' is not a TV show with massive amounts of substance, but the drama is amazing!
 

Favourite YouTube Video: The Laziest Day EVER

 
This video is the most adorable thing that I have ever seen! It is one of Louise's vlogmas vlogs, and it features Jack Howard, who I am in love with! My favourite part of this video is when Jack gives Darcy her Christmas present, which was the DVD 'The lion king', which was the first film that he saw in the cinema. It was just such a sweet and lovely moment, and I'm so glad that it was caught on camera.

A creative writing assignment complicates the relationship between a teacher (Martin Freeman) and his student (Jenna Ortega). I heard about this film maybe once and remember being interested in it, but then I never heard anything about it again. So when I saw it was available to rent/buy on Prime Video, I decided to give it a shot.  I don't know what to make of this one. I didn't hate it, but there wasn't a lot to like. The only thing I did like was that Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega worked really well together and had good chemistry. American Psycho | 100 Movies Bucket List

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Though saying that, I knew that I probably would watch it again eventually, because I knew how much of a classic it was. Like a lot of films I've watched for the Bucket List, I liked it more this time around than I did the first time, though I still didn't love it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I did really enjoy it. The writing was great and Christian Bale was amazing in the role, as were the supporting actors. For me, though, the most iconic thing about this movie is its soundtrack. The songs used are amazing and fit the movie so well. They're used in such a unique, original way, that it feels like this alone makes the movie a classic. The film is really well made, and even though I don't love i

Snatch | 100 Movies Bucket List

I'd never heard of this film before last year, when I watched it for the first time, so this time around was my second watch. Guy Richie's movies tend to be a bit hit-or-miss for me. This is one of the only ones where I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other. I didn't love the story, it didn't hold my interest the whole way through. But one thing that I absolutely loved was the dialogue. It was smart, quippy and made the film a much more fun watch than the plot itself would suggest. Another thing I absolutely loved was Brad Pitt's performance. This was probably one of my favourite roles of his. He did a great job with the character, and it was really different to everything else I've seen him in. But that being said, all of the performances were great. For me, if I had to guess why this film is considered a classic, it would 100% be because of the script and performances, rather than the film as a whole. It was the script that kept me locked in and

My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it.
