Life Itself | Film Review
Hey Guys x I went into this film completely blind. All I knew was that it was a 'Sky Cinema Original', which meant that it came on the Sky 'Premiere' channel on the same day that it was supposed to be released in the cinema, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to see it on the day that it came out (Friday 4th). And I have to say, I'm really glad I did that. I think this film works best if you don't know too much about it, so I'm not going to say much here, but it's about the way that one single event can cause a ripple effect that can change lives around the world without even knowing it. I thought this film was amazing. First of all, the opening. It's a story written within a story that immediately pulls you in. I don't know what I was expecting, but I certainly wasn't expecting it to begin that way. It's one of the most original beginnings to a film that I've seen in a while.
