The Summer Tag!

Image
I have been tagged by the amazing Hattie to do the summer tag! I thought I'd do it now because it's September in 2 days which literally means the end of summer! If you don't already know Hattie, check her out because her blog is awesome! The Summer Tag 1. Favourite bronzer for summer? I don't actually wear make-up so I'm afraid I can't answer this question! 2. You're relaxing in a hammock on a tropical island, what are you sipping on? Tropical fruit juice of Fanta fruit twist. Perfect summer drinks! 3. Favourite summer lip product? Tanya Burr 'Let's Travel The World'. It's such a gorgeous colour! It's the right texture for summer because it lasts for the whole day and it smells of strawberry's. What's not to love? 4. Pool or Beach? I'm a pool girl. I don't really like going on the beach. It's so nice to just relax by the pool for hours on end! 5. Summer = Crazy hair! What's your must have styli

Girl Talk: Affordable Back-To-School Outfits

Image
Since my 'Summer Fashion' post, I have been playing around on polyvore non-stop! In that post, I said that I would be posting a Back-To-School collection. As many people have been going back to school this week, or are going back next week, I thought that it was only right to do this post today! When looking around today, I decided to only choose clothes that would be in a teenager's parent's price range. I have chosen a few outfit ideas that I think would be suitable and affordable for anyone to wear casually to school (if you don't have a uniform) college, or even university! All prices to each piece of clothing will be below as well as a link where you can buy each one. Some of them have bags and some don't, mainly because most people use one school bag with every outfit and if you're going to school within the next week or two then you most likely already have the bag that you're going to use for the rest of the year! I hope you enjoy reading abo

August Favourites!

This is my fifth 'favourites' post! I love trying out different things, getting ready for this post, so that I can recommend my favourite things to you guys, and hopefully some of my favourites can become your favourites too! Favourite Movie: Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes   I saw this a few weeks ago and I completely loved it! If you haven't seen 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' then you may want to see that before you see this, but trust me, you will not be disappointed! I won't spoil the storyline but I loved the way that the story progressed through both films and I seriously recommend this film because it's so good! Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpSaTrW4leg   Favourite TV Show: The Vampire Diaries   I don't think I have to tell you how much I love 'The Vampire Diaries'! I'm only about 10 episodes into season 2 and am doing everything I can to make sure that I see no spoilers, but I am so excited to see wha

Book Review #20: The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell

I've had this book for a good few years and I have read it a few times because I love it! If you have no prior knowledge of 'Sex and the City', then this book may not appeal to you. But trust me, it's worth reading whether you like SATC or not!   Think Carrie Bradshaw in her teen years. This book is before Sex and the City, and kind of has nothing to do with it. Carrie dreams of being a writer. She's from a small town, but knows that she wants out. She wants to be something in the world, and she knows how she's going to do it. There's just one problem - She has to get through senior year of high school. Of course, Carrie is mature enough to focus on her dream and forget her friend's dramas. But when Sebastian Kydd comes into her life, and she is betrayed by a close friend, will she ever be able to make her dream a reality?   I love reading teen fiction. I like reading older books with more complicated issues, but who can beat a teenage boo
