Blogmas Day 13: Best Vlogmas Vids!

Thanks for all your birthday messages yesterday, they all meant a lot to me!

Now, on to Vlogmas!

I am loving Vlogmas this year! Although I'm not subscribed to as many people doing it as I am in other years, I am still inundated with videos every night, and that's the way it should be!

There are some videos that have really got me in the festive Christmas spirit, so I'm sharing some of them with you!

(For some reason, Blogger won't let me put up some of the videos, so for them, the link will be in the name of the video if the video isn't below it. Really sorry about that, I don't know what's going on!)

Zoella - Christmas Cake Pops


Zoe did a collaboration with Tanya Burr where they made Cake pops and it was such a good video! Not only did they try to make it really Christmassy in itself, but it was such a funny video, as it always is when these two get together!

Tanya Burr - YouTuber Secrets...


All of the YouTubers under 'Gleam' management have a Christmas party and it seems like every youtuber there vlogged the event, which meant that we had about 10 different vlogs from different angles of the day. I picked Tanya's just because she's feeling particularly festive, which in turn makes me feel really festive!

Zoella - Christmas Gift Wrapping Ideas

This video is one that I watched this morning and I loved! We are all wrapping Christmas presents right now, so this is really helpful, and I love all of Zoe's different ideas!

SprinkleOfChatter - Hotel Sillies and Party Time!

 
This was the party for Louise's Diary launch party, and I loved watching this Vlog! Not only did this really get me into the Christmas spirit, but it felt really nice to watch Louise celebrate something that she's worked on for so long! And as I do have her diary, I can also point out how amazing it is!

Niomi Smart - Ice Skating With Jimbobs!


Niomi has been vlogging twice a week for vlogmas, and I love watching her vlogs! This one was particularly nice because Ice Skating is just such a Christmassy thing to do! Plus it was nice to see her having fun with Jim and Tanya, who are two of my favourites!

Tanya Burr - New Bathroom Tour & Our Christmas Party


Tanya and Jim also had a Christmas party of their own, and this is Tanya's vlog of it. It looked like such a nice evening! Plus, seeing how excited Tanya got when people started arriving was really nice, and it really made me want to go!

MoreZoella - Best YouTube Christmas Party


The last video, and one of the best, Zoe's version of the Gleam Christmas party! I put hers in because she was there for the beginning entertainment (which Tanya wasn't there for!) so there's a lot more that she got filmed than other people! Plus, this is another party that I would like to have been invited to!

    Both Zoë & Tanya's collabs were hilarious. There's never a time where they can't make me smile :) Zoë is an AMAZING present wrapper, I might use some of her ideas next year! And I also loved Zoë's Gleam Christmas party vlog, I hope to go to a party like that one day, lol. It looked so fun! I'm not very sporty, but I feel like it would be such a great experience.

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I still definitely had problems with it! For a start, while I love the fact that it was a musical, I didn't actually like any of the actual songs. None of them really stood out (except the one that's already known) and having only seen the film yesterday, I can't remember any of them. Scarface (1983) | 100 Movies Bucket List

Next up for the Bucket List was another first-time watch! I'd seen the original 1932 film years ago and really liked it, but I never got around to watching this (undoubtedly more popular) version, so I'm glad it was on the list. I really really liked this movie. I'm not sure if I like it more than, or the same as the original, but I definitely had a great time with it. One thing about finally seeing all these classic movies is seeing how much impact they've had on pop culture, and this film is definitely no exception. It's so quotable, there are so many iconic images, and it's one that everyone should watch if they haven't seen it before. The most talked-about aspect of this film is probably the violence, and that's so interesting to see. Not only the way it's spoken about, but also the difference between violence in older films like this and newer releases. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. American Psycho | 100 Movies Bucket List

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Though saying that, I knew that I probably would watch it again eventually, because I knew how much of a classic it was. Like a lot of films I've watched for the Bucket List, I liked it more this time around than I did the first time, though I still didn't love it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I did really enjoy it. The writing was great and Christian Bale was amazing in the role, as were the supporting actors. For me, though, the most iconic thing about this movie is its soundtrack. The songs used are amazing and fit the movie so well. They're used in such a unique, original way, that it feels like this alone makes the movie a classic. The film is really well made, and even though I don't love i

The Matrix | 100 Movies Bucket List

  Next up for the Bucket List was a first-time watch. This is one that I had obviously heard of but knew next to nothing about. I found that it took a long time for me to connect with the story, and even then, while the film was interesting to watch, I never felt particularly invested in it. There were a lot of recognisable, iconic moments that I appreciated, and I get how much of an impact it had on sci-fi (and probably movies in general), but I don't know if it was for me. I somewhat enjoyed it, I understood everything that happened, but never felt connected, and didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It could just be that I need to re-watch it, and I probably will, but for a first watch, I didn't take to it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I'm glad I finally watched it!
