September Favourites! | 2015

Image
Hey Guys x It's that time once again, the time when I tell you all the things that I've been loving this month. I feel like I haven't done one of these in ages! I love doing these posts because, if nothing else, it gives me a reason to watch new films and YouTube videos, so that I have something to show and tell you guys about! Anyway, let's get on with the favourites! Favourite Film: Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters So I have to admit, I only watched this film in the first place because it stars Jeremy Renner, who I'm kind of in love with, but I'm so glad I watched it because it's an amazing film! It plays on the fairy-tale version of Hansel and Gretel, but now it's 15 years after they were left in the forest and they're making a living as Witch Hunters! It's incredibly gory and is more like a horror film than a fairy-tale, but a thrilling watch that demands a sequel! Favourite TV Show: Family Guy (Season 13) I am a huge Family G...

DVD Cabinet Tour | C

Hey Guys x I guess, because I've done two of these already, this post is kind of self explanatory, but in case you haven't read the first two posts ( here and here ) I'll explain what I'm doing. Basically, I and my family kind of collect DVDs, so we have this huge cabinet filled with movies throughout the years. Because there's so much history there, I thought that it would be interesting to show you guys the DVDs that we have. I also thought that, for the movies that I've seen, I'll do a mini-review, so you can see if you'd like to watch them too! Anyway, let me get on with it! The Cabin At Sorrow Creek This is probably one of the only horror movies in the cabinet that I haven't seen yet, so I can't tell you whether it's good or bad. It's about a group of friends (2 sisters, one sister's boyfriend and the boyfriend's best friend) travel away from their busy lives in New York. However, a fishing accident leads...

Current Celebrity Obsessions!

Image
Hey Guys x I'm going to be honest, I'm completely using this post to look at pictures of all my favourite celebrities and to talk about them to my heart's content! I get obsessed with celebrities a lot, and my obsessions usually change at least once a month if not more! So I thought that I'd show you some of my current celebrity obsessions! And then when I'm obsessed with someone new, I can do this post again with new people! Chris Evans Chris Evans who, among other things, plays Steve Rogers/Captain America in MARVEL's Avengers and Captain America movies. I love watching interviews with him in purely because I like to listen to him speak - he's so articulate and really thinks about what he has to say before he says it, regarding anything that he's talking about, which I admire about him. He's also very funny and I love to watch him in interviews with other people because he always manages to make his answers to the interviewer's ques...

How To | Unique Blog Header

Image
Hey Guys x When I changed up my blog design, a lot of you guys said that you wanted to see how I did it, so I thought I'd take some screenshots to show you exactly what I did, starting with my header! Now, because I blog on blogger and have not bought a domain name, I am using the blogger template, having said that, I still managed to customise it a bit so it looks exactly the way I want it to look. But I'll show you how I did my background in another post. However, my header was completely my own design, so I'll show you how I did that first! My Header Before I start, I did my header using a tutorial that I found on Abi's blog here ! But I'll break it down a bit more so that mine isn't completely the same, as some of the things that I did didn't come from Abi's post. I'm also not going to show my exact header design, I'll just make a sample one. First of all, you need to use the website ' PicMonkey ' (if you have a better o...

My September Disney Playlist!

Image
Hey Guys x For me, September so far has been a month of Disney! I have been watching a lot of Disney movies this month, but more than that, I've been listening to a hell of a lot of Disney songs, and I am completely obsessed! So I thought I'd show you some of the Disney songs that I've been listening to and loving this month! After Ever After - Jon Cozart This isn't a song from a Disney movie, but this is a parody of certain Disney movies and I completely love it! It's based on what would happen in the real world when the credits roll on our favourite Disney classics, and it's amazing! Honestly, it's the funniest song I've ever listened to, and Jon Cozart (aka Paint on YouTube) has the most amazing voice! Someday My Prince Will Come - Snow White Snow White is without a doubt the most annoying-voiced Disney princess, but I love this song so much, and as annoying as her voice is, I'm obsessed with it! Also, a bit of Disney trivi...

DVD Cabinet Tour | B

Image
Hey Guys x Yesterday, I uploaded the A's , as in, every DVD in the cabinet that begins with an A. As I said yesterday, I wanted to do the whole top shelf in one post, but it would have been way too long, so I decided to break it up and upload the second half today! I'm writing this post after just finishing the first half, which isn't yet uploaded, so I don't know whether you enjoyed seeing some of my DVDs or not, but I hope you did because you're reading this post too! Anyway, before I start rambling, let's get on with the post! I hope you enjoy seeing some more DVDs from my cabinet! The Babadook This is an Australian horror film about a little boy who finds a kids story, that isn't all it seems. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of this film, not only was it not as scary as I thought it would be, but some parts of it didn't make sense. And in addition to that, the mother in the film was kind of abusive! I don't know if this w...
