I've had a new idea, and I'm really freaking excited about it!

One of the reasons that I started this blog, was so that I could give advice to people that need it!

But then I thought, if I don't know what advice you need, how can I help?

So, I've decided to start an advice corner. Let me explain:

You can email me, tweet me, or leave a comment on a post asking me for some sort of advice, just if you need an opinion on something or if you just want to see my thoughts on something.

I'll then answer your advice/question in a post (Taking your name out so that you have privacy), and maybe it will help someone who needs help with the same question.

I'm doing this purely because I love helping people and because people do ask me for advice. I just wanted to make it a bit more formal and let people know that they can come to me for advice, because that is one of the purposes of 'Lou's World'.

Also, the ending line of each of my blog posts is 'Keep Smiling', because I want people to keep smiling. It sounds ridiculous, but to know that something I did or said made someone smile would mean more than the world to me. I know I can't change the world. But maybe I can help, at least one person, to see that their world can be changed, if they give it a chance.

It means a lot that some of you do ask for my advice on things anyway, I love to give it to you!

If this works and people send me advice, I might make this a weekly or monthly thing. But even to do it once and a while would be really nice.

This is just a quick post to tell you about my idea and to see what you think.

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I still definitely had problems with it! Miller's Girl | Film Review

A creative writing assignment complicates the relationship between a teacher (Martin Freeman) and his student (Jenna Ortega). I heard about this film maybe once and remember being interested in it, but then I never heard anything about it again. So when I saw it was available to rent/buy on Prime Video, I decided to give it a shot.  I don't know what to make of this one. I didn't hate it, but there wasn't a lot to like. The only thing I did like was that Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega worked really well together and had good chemistry. I'd love to see them work together again, in a film with a better plot and a less weird (platonic) relationship. The characters are written really weirdly. There were many moments when they said things that were just so unbelievable, especially Jenna Ortega's character, Cairo. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. American Psycho | 100 Movies Bucket List

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Though saying that, I knew that I probably would watch it again eventually, because I knew how much of a classic it was. Like a lot of films I've watched for the Bucket List, I liked it more this time around than I did the first time, though I still didn't love it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I did really enjoy it. The writing was great and Christian Bale was amazing in the role, as were the supporting actors. For me, though, the most iconic thing about this movie is its soundtrack. The songs used are amazing and fit the movie so well. Holding Grudges

Hey Guys x First of all, this post is 3 days late and I'm really sorry about that. I had half of it written on Wednesday evening when everything went wrong and my laptop stopped working. Thankfully, the first half of this post saved so I can just continue now! Second of all, thanks for the nice comments on my 'Sefie-shy' post, you all really helped and I enjoyed seeing what you had to say. If you haven't seen it, click here ! But right now, I want to talk about grudges. Some of us don't hold grudges. Sure you get into arguments or someone insults you, but when everything is done and the apologies have been dealt, you can easily forget everything that happened and move on, still with this person by your side.
