A Passion For Writing

Hey Guys x

I had an interview yesterday (for a university) and in the interview, they asked me how often I write (creatively, not just generally).

I know that the most obvious answer would be to claim that I write every day. But after thinking about it, I realised that I actually do write every single day, which came as a shock to me!

When I'm writing blog posts, I don't count it as writing creatively because it's just a hobby that I really love to do, but it actually is creative writing, which is great, because creative writing is something that I want to study and eventually make a full-time career out of.

I've never really had a passion apart from writing.

I like things. Of course, everyone does.

I also obsess about things. A lot of things. Mainly people. I have already mentioned that I am a massive fangirl. I am currently equally obsessed with Jack Howard and Ben Cook, and when I say obsessed, I mean it! I mainly live out my obsessions by watching YouTube videos.

But when people talk about being passionate about something, it's generally a talent that they're really good at. For example, you can be a really talented musician and be really passionate about it.

I love to write. I would spend all day writing if I could, and I usually do try to make time for it every day, even if it is just a blog post every other day!

I'm just going to be honest with you. My brain is scattered all over the place and this post is a big blurt of everything that was in my head today. I have a lot of random thoughts and this post is a mish-mash of all of them!

But I guess the point of this post is that, it's great to have a passion, especially one that you're dedicated to. But if you don't have one, just obsess over things like I do!

Again, sorry for this short 'mish-mash' post. Friday's will be a lot more put together and it will make a lot more sense!

    This is great! I absolutely adore writing as well and I think that being a blogger is such a good outlet for that. Hope that your uni interview went well, I know how nerve wracking they can be, and ive been going through them recently as well!

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Miller's Girl | Film Review

A creative writing assignment complicates the relationship between a teacher (Martin Freeman) and his student (Jenna Ortega). I heard about this film maybe once and remember being interested in it, but then I never heard anything about it again. So when I saw it was available to rent/buy on Prime Video, I decided to give it a shot.  I don't know what to make of this one. I didn't hate it, but there wasn't a lot to like. The only thing I did like was that Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega worked really well together and had good chemistry. I'd love to see them work together again, in a film with a better plot and a less weird (platonic) relationship. The characters are written really weirdly. There were many moments when they said things that were just so unbelievable, especially Jenna Ortega's character, Cairo. Snatch | 100 Movies Bucket List

I'd never heard of this film before last year, when I watched it for the first time, so this time around was my second watch. Guy Richie's movies tend to be a bit hit-or-miss for me. This is one of the only ones where I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other. I didn't love the story, it didn't hold my interest the whole way through. But one thing that I absolutely loved was the dialogue. It was smart, quippy and made the film a much more fun watch than the plot itself would suggest. Another thing I absolutely loved was Brad Pitt's performance. This was probably one of my favourite roles of his. He did a great job with the character, and it was really different to everything else I've seen him in. But that being said, all of the performances were great. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. I love... Bubble Bath Review

The flavours I'm reviewing are strawberry celebration (or 'strawberries and cream') and Mango and Papaya. The first thing I have to comment on is the smell of these. They smell so close to the fruits that they resemble, it's amazing! And it's not just me, on the back of the 'Strawberry Celebration' bottle, it says 'I AM NOT A FOOD' so I guess that the company are scared that people will try to eat it! The size and shape of the bottles means that the bottles are completely full of the bubble bath, which is great because you really do get your money's worth! On the website it says that it has real extracts of the fruits in it, which I think is great and really adds to the great smell. I tried the strawberry one first. I love the smell of this so much, just like strawberries! It looks really pink in the bottle, but when you put it on your skin it clears out, which I like because you don't have to worry about it leaving marks of colo
