Goodbye 2024!

This has been a really full-on year, and it feels so quick to be writing my last post. As I'm writing this, it's not even Christmas yet so being in the headspace of the last day of the year feels so strange!

It's been my best year in so many areas of the stats below, I've beaten so many goals and it's been so much fun!

Movies Watched: 483

New TV Shows Started: 18

TV Shows Finished: 11

Books Read: 22

Blog Posts Written: 235

First of all, the movies. Because of the 100 Movies Bucket List, I ended up watching more movies than usual, and the range of movies I've been watching is so much wider than what I usually watch.

I've seen some amazing movies, new and old, and it's also great that some of the best movies I've seen this year are movies that I'm not even reviewing until 2025 - it makes me feel like next year will be another great year for film.

I've started more TV than last year, and I think the quality of TV I've watched this year has been better. Plus I've finished more than half of the shows I started, so that's great!

I've read a couple more books this year than last year, and I hit my reading goal so I'm happy about that. I love that most of the books I've read this year have been 3 stars or above, and I've found at least one all-time favourite.

And then there's the blog posts, which is the biggest jump. Of course this is due to the Bucket List, but I've also enjoyed writing more than I have in previous years. Sometimes in the past it's felt like something I was making myself do, and this year I've been a bit easier on myself and it's definitely felt more like a fun hobby.

So yeah, this has been a different year in a lot of ways, and I hope to carry a lot of the things I've loved doing into 2025.

I have wanted to write this post for so long! I'm so glad to finally be writing it! But first of all, let me just apologise for not posting last night, due to an array of factors that left me feeling a bit shitty. Anyway, back to Louise. 100 Followers!!

Hey Guys x I know I don't usually post on Thursdays, but today I just had to! I've been checking my bloglovin' follower count a lot for the past two weeks, and I've noticed that I've been getting closer and closer to 100 followers. And today, I hit my goal! 100 followers! I have 100 followers! It doesn't sound like a lot at all, but I always think of it like this: What if all of your followers (readers/subscribers etc.) were standing in front of you right now? So 100 is just a completely amazing amount that I honestly never thought I would reach! I mean, I was stuck on 5, and then 37, and then 60, and then 85 for the longest times and I never thought I would get more than that. To be honest, I never expected to. But the fact that 100 people have decided to follow my blog fills me with so many feelings, the biggest being surprise and happiness. University Worries

Hey Guys x So as most of you know, I got into university, which is really exciting! However, as with anything new, there are some things about the process of starting uni that make me really nervous and worried, so I thought that I could share some of my worries with you guys in this post (mostly so you could please tell me that they're all in my head!) Making Friends I don't really have a problem with making friends as such, I always tend to talk to people in  my classes and generally get on with them. However, because I'm staying at home, I kind of feel like I'm going to miss out on a few of the social aspects that come with sharing a home with someone. And, on a more irrational note, I always worry in new social situations whether or not people will like me. My August Playlist!

Hey Guys x I was going to do a July playlist, until I realised that I spent July listening to the same songs in my June Playlist , so I didn't think there was a point! I spent all of yesterday adding different songs to my IPod, basically creating my playlist for August, so I thought that I'd show you guys what I picked! Chandelier - Sia I am loving this song at the moment! I think Sia is a really interesting artist (Who I'd like to know more about!) and this song is amazing! Her voice is great and the video is so... simple, yet really entertaining. I can never get tired of listening to this song. Kiss Me Quick - Nathan Sykes I talked about this song in my July favourites, I probably spoke about it before then, and I'll probably speak about again because I love it so much! The 'Scary' Age

Hey Guys x I first heard this phrase in 'Sex and the City', where two of the main characters were speaking about the age in which they would be worried that they hadn't had children. For example, one said that she didn't want to be 45 and be unable to have children, wondering where their lives had gone. As I'm only 18, I'm not worrying about having children anytime soon, but I still have my own version of the 'scary' age, one that many people may agree with. My scary age, is the age when we, as humans, are supposed to have our lives together. We're supposed to have a great job and a relationship and a house/flat away from our parents. The age when we'll officially be adults. And this terrifies me because I feel like I am so far away from that! For most people, I assume their scary age is in their mid-late twenties, but society makes us feel like we should be at this age already. We're already expected to know exactly what...
