Time again to write one of my favourite posts, where I show you all of the things that I have been completely loving this month!

As I always say, I hope that some of my favourites become your favourites too!

Favourite Movie: Insidious 3


If you don't know yet, I love horror movies! As soon as this came out, I watched it because I really enjoyed the first two insidious films. I honestly didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I was watching it with my mum and we were both jumping out of our skins every 5 minutes - the film has a lot of great jump scares, which is what I love about horror movies. You don't have to see the first two to watch this one as it occurs before them. Although I have to say, if you're not a big fan of horror movies, you may not want to watch this film.

Favourite TV Show: The Vampire Diaries


When I was doing my exams in June, I stopped watching this so that I could focus on revising. I had just started season 2 so I wasn't that far in, and then  I just forgot about it. However, in  the past two weeks, I've started watching it again and I'm completely in love with it! I think that this show is the best way to do a vampire TV series and, if you're going to watch a supernatural show, make it this one! If for no other reason, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. Enough said!

Favourite Song: Kiss Me Quick


I have been a fan of Nathan and The Wanted since 2010, and I still love them! So when I heard that Nathan was bringing out a solo single and album, I was really excited. Then I heard this song, and I was even more excited! It's not just your average pop song and I think it just showcases how freaking talented the boy is! I can't stop listening to this song and am currently playing it to death! Listen to it if you haven't already!

Favourite YouTuber: Louise Pentland


You must all already know how much I love Louise! She's an amazing human being who I look up to a lot. Recently, she's been uploading the vlogs of her spending time with her friend Marie in Seattle, and it's really nice to see her with her guard down, around people that she's comfortable with. But as well as that, she's just published a book, and I can't wait to read it because, from what I've heard, it's amazing! I'm really proud of what she's accomplished so far, and I can't wait to see what else she does!

Favourite Music Artist: Nathan Sykes


This goes without saying, especially as his song is this month's favourite! But I just love how genuine he is. I've always been a fan of him (and a little bit in love with him) but recently, he's really come into his own and become his own person, and I've seen a different side to him, which has been lovely. I think I'll always be a fan of him!

Favourite Celebrity: Chris Evans


Ever since watching The Avengers, I've loved Chris Evans as an actor. But after watching interviews with him and seeing him talk about his interests, I've found that he's a really interesting person. He really tries to keep himself in the present to stay grounded, and I found that really nice. He's so humble and, from what I can see, just a really lovely guy. I can't wait to see him in more films!

Favourite YouTube Video: Tipsy Talk with SprinkleofGlitter (Again)

Tipsy Talk is a series by Hazel Hayes, and it is probably one of the best things on YouTube. However, as great as it is, when the special guest is Louise Pentland, it's just pushed over the edge. These two women are amazing together and this video is one of the funniest things that I've ever seen! Watch it now!

Random Favourite: Dream A Little Dream


I reviewed this on Sunday, so you can probably tell why it's a favourite! I never normally do books as favourites, just because I never finish a book in time for it to be in my favourites, and I don't want to write about one as a favourite unless it's completely amazing, which this book is!

    I hadn't listened to Kiss Me Quick so I'm listening to it right now and it's so good!!! :D I also couldn't stop laughing at the video by Hazel and Louise!! These two are just so great together <3

When ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a roadhouse, he soon finds that his past is quickly catching up to him. I've never seen the original Road House, and when I put this one on I wasn't really planning to review it, but I found myself really getting into it. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Both the characters and the story were a lot more engaging and compelling than I thought they would be. The story sucked me in right from the beginning and I was interested the whole way through. The cast is great, but Jake Gyllenhaal completely carries the film and plays the character of Dalton really well. Again, I can't compare his performance to the original, but I really like the character. The fight scenes, which are pretty much what the film is about, are done really well. They're entertaining, but they also do a good job of moving the story forward. I think the reason I liked the film so much was because I didn't take it

Wonka | Film Review

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I still definitely had problems with it! For a start, while I love the fact that it was a musical, I didn't actually like any of the actual songs. None of them really stood out (except the one that's already known) and having only seen the film yesterday, I can't remember any of them. In fact, while the songs didn't hurt the film, I also don't feel like they were completely necessary. I would have liked the film the same amount if it hadn't been a musical. Wonka is a really charming character, and Chalamet plays him really well. In fact, the entire cast is great - definitely the best thing about the film by a mile. The relationship b

Scarface (1983) | 100 Movies Bucket List

Next up for the Bucket List was another first-time watch! I'd seen the original 1932 film years ago and really liked it, but I never got around to watching this (undoubtedly more popular) version, so I'm glad it was on the list. I really really liked this movie. I'm not sure if I like it more than, or the same as the original, but I definitely had a great time with it. One thing about finally seeing all these classic movies is seeing how much impact they've had on pop culture, and this film is definitely no exception. It's so quotable, there are so many iconic images, and it's one that everyone should watch if they haven't seen it before. The most talked-about aspect of this film is probably the violence, and that's so interesting to see. Not only the way it's spoken about, but also the difference between violence in older films like this and newer releases. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. American Psycho | 100 Movies Bucket List

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Though saying that, I knew that I probably would watch it again eventually, because I knew how much of a classic it was. Like a lot of films I've watched for the Bucket List, I liked it more this time around than I did the first time, though I still didn't love it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I did really enjoy it. The writing was great and Christian Bale was amazing in the role, as were the supporting actors. For me, though, the most iconic thing about this movie is its soundtrack. The songs used are amazing and fit the movie so well. They're used in such a unique, original way, that it feels like this alone makes the movie a classic. The film is really well made, and even though I don't love i
