Lately, I've been trying not to do tags, just because I've done a lot in the past, but I've been nominated and tagged in a few things over the last 2 weeks.

This tag (as well as others) really stood out to me.

This picture is from New Year's Eve. It's the first one in my photos of happiness because it just holds such happy memories for me. I was out with some of my closest friends, just having a really great day. I generally hate thinking about the past, because it's usually filled with anxiety and embarrassment, but this day is one that I would relive over and over again!

This was one of the first pictures that I had ever taken myself and put on my blog. Rain makes me happy, extremely happy. And this picture of the rain on the car window just makes me feel really comfortable and calm, and I love that feeling!

Books books books books books! I don't actually know if there's anything that makes me more happy than a bookshelf filled with amazing books. I couldn't not have books somewhere in this list, but I thought, why not use my own books!

Disney Disney Disney Disney Disney! Disney, along with books, makes me the most happy that a person could be! In fact, I would love to have a day where I could just sit down and watch Disney movies while reading my favourite books without feeling guilty for doing nothing!

This picture represents baking... anything! I love to bake and I really don't do it enough. But when I have all of my ingredients out and a recipe in front of me, before I even start baking anything, I feel really happy. And of course, eating what I bake is another thing that makes me really happy!

I don't think I've ever really expressed my love for singing on my blog, mainly because I can't really sing! But I love to sing! Whether it's on singing games, or just at home alone, I really like singing, specifically if I know all of the words to a song!

For me, this camera represents blogging and photography. Blogging is my favourite hobby and I can't imagine spending my days doing anything else. I like taking my own pictures for my blog, but even is I don't, I still love looking at other people's pictures and editing my own, which is why this tag is perfect!

This is a word document which represents writing, but a book rather than a blog post. This is actually a page from the book that I've been writing, which is exciting because, even though I'm not even halfway through, it's beginning to feel like a real thing. But even if it wasn't this book, I love to write and I will always be writing a book or story of some sort!

    Hi! :) Thank you so much for tagging me! I love the idea behind this post so I'm excited to do this soon! Last year I decided to re-watch all of our old disney movies, so I made my sisters sit down and watch them with me; it was one of the best decisions of my life (a movie a day) and you really see the movies differently especially if you haven't seen them in a while. You should do it! :D

When ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a roadhouse, he soon finds that his past is quickly catching up to him. I've never seen the original Road House, and when I put this one on I wasn't really planning to review it, but I found myself really getting into it. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Both the characters and the story were a lot more engaging and compelling than I thought they would be. The story sucked me in right from the beginning and I was interested the whole way through. The cast is great, but Jake Gyllenhaal completely carries the film and plays the character of Dalton really well. Again, I can't compare his performance to the original, but I really like the character. The fight scenes, which are pretty much what the film is about, are done really well. The Matrix | 100 Movies Bucket List

  Next up for the Bucket List was a first-time watch. This is one that I had obviously heard of but knew next to nothing about. I found that it took a long time for me to connect with the story, and even then, while the film was interesting to watch, I never felt particularly invested in it. There were a lot of recognisable, iconic moments that I appreciated, and I get how much of an impact it had on sci-fi (and probably movies in general), but I don't know if it was for me. I somewhat enjoyed it, I understood everything that happened, but never felt connected, and didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. It could just be that I need to re-watch it, and I probably will, but for a first watch, I didn't take to it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I'm glad I finally watched it!

Wonka | Film Review

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I still definitely had problems with it! For a start, while I love the fact that it was a musical, I didn't actually like any of the actual songs. None of them really stood out (except the one that's already known) and having only seen the film yesterday, I can't remember any of them. In fact, while the songs didn't hurt the film, I also don't feel like they were completely necessary. I would have liked the film the same amount if it hadn't been a musical. Wonka is a really charming character, and Chalamet plays him really well. In fact, the entire cast is great - definitely the best thing about the film by a mile. The relationship b

Scarface (1983) | 100 Movies Bucket List

Next up for the Bucket List was another first-time watch! I'd seen the original 1932 film years ago and really liked it, but I never got around to watching this (undoubtedly more popular) version, so I'm glad it was on the list. I really really liked this movie. I'm not sure if I like it more than, or the same as the original, but I definitely had a great time with it. One thing about finally seeing all these classic movies is seeing how much impact they've had on pop culture, and this film is definitely no exception. It's so quotable, there are so many iconic images, and it's one that everyone should watch if they haven't seen it before. The most talked-about aspect of this film is probably the violence, and that's so interesting to see. Not only the way it's spoken about, but also the difference between violence in older films like this and newer releases. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it.
