Hey Guys x It feels like I did my February Favourites post really recently, I can't believe a month has already passed! As I always say, I love doing these posts because I really enjoy getting together all of my favourite things so that I can share them with you guys. And this month, I have some amazing things to share! Favourite Movie: The Boy Next Door   If you haven't seen this, it's basically about a woman, who is considering getting back together with her ex husband (who she has a teenage son with), when she sleeps with a student. This turns out to be a big mistake as the student was not all he seemed. This is a really good film, if you haven't seen it, then seriously watch it. It's a thriller but it's just such an interesting film. Although, if you're looking for a light-hearted film, this is not it! It is very intense, so be prepared for that!   Favourite TV Show: Family Guy   You probably know that I love Family Guy already...

Hey Guys x I’m really sorry for not posting on Wednesday. I always forget on Wednesdays that I’m due to post until the evening, which means that it’s too late to write a post. I think I might have to stop posting every Wednesday, just because it’s so hard to write a post after college. On Monday’s it’s ok because I usually write Monday posts on Sunday. Last year in September, I wrote a post called ‘ Carrie Moments ’, where I described these moments that I sometimes have, and why I decided to call them Carrie moments. Hey Guys x I have hit a few blogging milestones in the past months. First of all, I hit 200 blog posts. I did a post on this here and how much this meant to me personally, as someone who never normally sticks with one specific hobby. Then, my views kept getting higher and higher. Currently, I have over 14,000 views, which is slightly overwhelming to fathom. My blog link has been clicked on and viewed over 14,000 times! Even seeing how many views my posts get after being uploaded for 24 hours is completely amazing and really makes me happy. Not only the fact that I have written about something that I am passionate about, but the fact that you guys seem to get passionate about the things that I am passionate about is amazing! And I love the fact that you enjoy reading my rambles and just spilling out whatever is in my head at whatever moments! So many of you guys have said that these are the posts of mine that you enjoy the most, so I will continue to ramble for a long time...

  As a YouTube fan, obviously I picked up this book and read it! I also picked up one for a friend's birthday before I even read it so you could say I have a lot vested in this!   If you're not into YouTubers or have no idea who Tanya Burr is, then you might not be keen to read this book, but keep reading this review because you might find something that you like the sound of.   On first reflection, this book is basically an autobiography. There's things about Tanya's childhood, her upbringing and her relationship with her now-fiancé Jim Chapman. But while reading it and looking at the different chapters, I found that there were many things that weren't particularly about Tanya. Chapters such as make-up essentials, skincare essentials and hair and nail essentials are all chapters that are just giving a bit of information to help out the people that are reading the books.   Hey Guys x   I've been thinking about compliments a lot in the past few weeks.   I don't think I give a lot of compliments. I mean, if I see that a friend has gone out of their way to look nice, or if they're wearing something that I haven't seen before and really like, I obviously tell them. And they do the same for me.   But if I see someone that I don't really talk to, and it's obvious that they've made an effort to look nice, I don't really tell them, mainly because I don't know them well enough or I think that they'll find it a bit weird if I say something to them, because they don't know me that well either.   However, there is a girl in one of my classes who I don't really speak to, but she has an amazing sense of style.   It's not like I don't like her, she's a really nice girl and I do like her, I just don't necessarily speak to her that often.   Anyway, she was in my form room and w...

  Is your glass half empty or half full?   Personally, my glass is half empty - I am the eternal pessimist. Always have been, always will be.   However, the other day, I read something really interesting.   Someone wrote that, for them, pessimists are realists and optimists are dreamers. I can kind of understand where this person is coming from.   For example, getting university offers. If you have no offers, an optimist would probably assume that they're taking longer because they like your application and are seriously considering giving you a place. Pessimists, on the other hand, would assume that you're not getting any offers at all.   I guess it makes more sense to hope for the best but expect the worst - but to do this, I think everyone needs to have a bit of an optimist and a pessimist in them.   Do you think it's better to be an optimist or a pessimist?   As a pessimist, I would love to be able to see life ...
