Another first-time watch!

I hadn't really heard of this film before, and definitely had no idea what it was about before I looked it up. But I loved the premise.

And thankfully, the film was great!

There were a lot of iconic scenes and phrases that I never would have thought came from a film as funny as this.

Despite being on this classics list, this isn't a film I often hear about.

I'm not sure if that's because comedy isn't as highly revered as drama, or because not enough people have seen this film, but I wish it was talked about more because I might have seen it sooner!

It definitely deserves its place on this list.

Not only is it funny, but it says a lot about working and office culture that I believe is still really relevant today.

This is one of the most underrated movies on the list, so definitely check it out if you haven't seen it!

The YouTuber Book Rant!

 ( Image Link ) Hey Guys x YouTubers writing books has become a thing within the last 2 years, and it's quite a controversial thing! It's a topic that I've wanted to talk about for a while because I have some quite strong views on it, from both points of view. I also want to get your opinions on it because it's such an interesting topic! So, I am not on any particular side with this debate, because I can see both points of view about YouTubers writing books. I also need to point out that I don't see Carrie Hope Fletcher's book as a 'YouTuber book' - to me, she's an author. I think YouTubers writing books is great - on the one hand, as a viewer. These people have a lot of really young viewers, some as young as under 11. G.I. Jane | 100 Movies Bucket List

  I hadn't heard much about this film before the infamous Will Smith/Chris Rock Oscars incident, but that alone did make me curious about it, so I was interested when I saw it on the bucket list. I've said this before but war settings aren't my favourite, so I was a bit apprehensive going into this. However, I knew that a large focus of the film would be on the character of Jordan trying to make it in a male-dominated industry, and that's a really interesting concept. It gets into the action really quickly, which was great. We get to know the characters as the events progress, which works in a film like this because it's shot in a way that makes us feel like we're experiencing this bootcamp alongside them. But in saying that, even though it moved quickly, it took a long time for the film to really grab me. I know this topic can be applied to girls and boys, but I have been in an all-girls school from the age of 11, so I have a lot more experience with just girls! This may sound like a rant, which isn't intentional, but remember that these are all just personal opinions that some of you might just happen to relate to. The 'I Never Revise' Girl   This is the girl who claims to never have done any studying or revision in her life, but somehow finishes her exams with As and A*s. The most annoying thing about this girl is that, she probably does revise. But the fact that she says she doesn't makes everyone who does revise and doesn't get As feel bad about themselves. Annoying.   The 'Boyfriend' Girl   This is usually the first girl in your year to get a boyfriend. The girl who spends all time with her boyfriend and uses the word 'love' whenever he is mentioned. First Week At University!

Hey Guys x I started university last week, so I thought I'd write a post about my first week and let you know what  got up to! My course is made up of lectures and seminars. For those who don't know, lectures are when everyone doing you course sits in the same lecture theatre and have a lecturer talking to them about a certain topic. A seminar is a smaller group who then discuss what was said in the lecture. So anyway, these are the only things that I have to go in for each week. One thing that my uni did that was really good was that they had a few days before uni began, for people to come in and meet other people from their course. This was really great as it meant that I already knew some people and had friends to meet up with before going to our first lecture. As it was the first week, all of the lectures were introductory lectures, and all the lecturers basically told us the same things! But it was useful for getting us used to going to lectures.
