I have seen these tags floating around YouTube and the Internet for some time now. So I thought that the best way to begin my blog was to tell you some things about me:


1.Do you have a middle name? Yes, It's also the name of my blog, Lou.

2. What was your favourite subject in school? My favourite subject was (and still is) English. I guess part of the reason that I'm doing this blog is because of my love for reading and words.

3. What’s your favourite drink? It may sound incredibly boring, but I've been forcing myself to drink a shed-load of water lately, and getting used to it, I think that it may be my favourite drink.

 4. Favourite song at the moment? 'All of Me' by John Legend. I loved it from the moment that I heard it, the lyrics captivated me.

 5. What would you name your children? For a boy, I like Theo and Nathan, and for a girl, I like Scarlett and Olivia.

 6. Do you participate in any sports? No. I'm not competitive enough to try and win any, and I have never enjoyed it.

 7. Favourite Book? It will currently have to be either 'Divergent' by Veronica Roth, or 'Me Before You' by Jojo Moyes.

8. Favourite Colour? Silver

 9. Favourite Animal? A cat or a Snow leopard.

 10. Favourite perfume? JLO- Miami Glow. I love it because it stay with you for a long time without overpowering you.

 11. Favourite holiday? Going to Florida with my family about5/6 years ago. I haven't been since and I'd love to go back!

 12. Have you graduated College? I am currently in college, graduating next year to go to university.

 13. Have you been out of the Country? Many times, mainly travelling to America or places within England.

 14. Do you speak any other Languages? Only GCSE level Spanish.

 15. Do you have any siblings? I have a younger sister and a younger half brother and sister.

 16. What’s your favourite store? Waterstones or WHSmiths, or any bookshop!

 17. Favourite Restaurant? Any Chinese or Italian restaurant.

 18. Did you like school? I hated school for the five years that I was there, but attending college has made me feel more positive about education.

 19. Favourite YouTubers? Marcus Butler, Alfie Deyes, Sawyer Hartman, Tyler Oakley, Zoella and Joe Sugg, to name a few!

 20. Favourite Movie? Back to the Future, Three Men and a Little Lady or Friends with Benefits.

 21. Favourite Tv show? Family Guy, Modern Family and Two and a Half Men.

 22. Pc or Mac? PC Forever.

 23. What phone do you have? I have an IPhone 4s.

 24. How tall are you? I'm around 5"6, but not exactly sure.

1. What do you order at Starbucks? I rarely go to Starbucks, but probably a hot chocolate.

 2. One thing in your closet you cannot live without? I could live without anything in my closet.

 3. What’s one thing most people probably don’t know about you? That I have this blog!

 4. Name one thing you want to do before you die… Do something completely crazy, like a skydive or to edge walk off of the CN tower.

 5. What’s one food you cannot live without? Pizza

 6. What quote/phrase do you live by? "A life lived in fear is a life half lived"

7. What’s your most listened to song on itunes? 'Last to Know' by The Wanted

8. What kind of style would you define yourself as having? I'd have to go with comfortable. I'm not really a style guru. If I feel good in something, I'll wear it.

9. Favourite number? 12, mainly because I was born on the 12th of the 12th (December 12th)

 10. Two Hobbies? Writing and Reading (And tweeting, if that counts as a hobby)

 11. Two Pet Peeves? People who have no regard for other people's feelings and people who try to manipulate people.

12. Guilty Pleasures? Disney Music. I would listen to the soundtracks of Aladdin, Tarzan and Frozen all day every day if I could!

When ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a roadhouse, he soon finds that his past is quickly catching up to him. I've never seen the original Road House, and when I put this one on I wasn't really planning to review it, but I found myself really getting into it. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Both the characters and the story were a lot more engaging and compelling than I thought they would be. The story sucked me in right from the beginning and I was interested the whole way through. The cast is great, but Jake Gyllenhaal completely carries the film and plays the character of Dalton really well. Again, I can't compare his performance to the original, but I really like the character. The fight scenes, which are pretty much what the film is about, are done really well. They're entertaining, but they also do a good job of moving the story forward. I think the reason I liked the film so much was because I didn't take it

Wonka | Film Review

Young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) tries to follow his dreams to become a respected chocolatier, despite opposition at every turn . This film was never particularly high on my 'to-watch' list, but it was always on my radar, so I'm glad I've finally seen it. I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I still definitely had problems with it! For a start, while I love the fact that it was a musical, I didn't actually like any of the actual songs. None of them really stood out (except the one that's already known) and having only seen the film yesterday, I can't remember any of them. In fact, while the songs didn't hurt the film, I also don't feel like they were completely necessary. I would have liked the film the same amount if it hadn't been a musical. Wonka is a really charming character, and Chalamet plays him really well. In fact, the entire cast is great - definitely the best thing about the film by a mile. The relationship b

Scarface (1983) | 100 Movies Bucket List

Next up for the Bucket List was another first-time watch! I'd seen the original 1932 film years ago and really liked it, but I never got around to watching this (undoubtedly more popular) version, so I'm glad it was on the list. I really really liked this movie. I'm not sure if I like it more than, or the same as the original, but I definitely had a great time with it. One thing about finally seeing all these classic movies is seeing how much impact they've had on pop culture, and this film is definitely no exception. It's so quotable, there are so many iconic images, and it's one that everyone should watch if they haven't seen it before. The most talked-about aspect of this film is probably the violence, and that's so interesting to see. Not only the way it's spoken about, but also the difference between violence in older films like this and newer releases. My Problem With '8 Simple Rules'

Hey Guys x Today's post might come out as more of a rant, which I'm OK with because I haven't ranted about something in a while! Last year, I started watching the show '8 Simple Rules' when it started playing on Comedy Central. It originally came on between 2002 and 2005 but I didn't watch it when it was first on. Anyway, I really got into it. There were only three seasons, so it was over before I wanted it to be. And I loved this show, and I still love it. Comedy Central doesn't play it anymore but if it did I would dive right back into it because I love a good sitcom. However, I have a major gripe with a plotline of the show, that got more prominent in season 2/3. Let me just explain the characters a bit, so you know who I'm taking about in case you never watched it. The show revolves around a family, Paul and Cate Hennessy, and their children Bridget, Kerry and Rory. In the second season, the father in the show died (due

American Psycho | 100 Movies Bucket List

This one was a re-watch. I'd seen this film once before watching it for the Bucket List. My memories of it weren't wholly positive - I didn't love the first watch, and while I didn't hate it, it wasn't a film that I was itching to watch again. Though saying that, I knew that I probably would watch it again eventually, because I knew how much of a classic it was. Like a lot of films I've watched for the Bucket List, I liked it more this time around than I did the first time, though I still didn't love it as much as I wanted to. But that being said, I did really enjoy it. The writing was great and Christian Bale was amazing in the role, as were the supporting actors. For me, though, the most iconic thing about this movie is its soundtrack. The songs used are amazing and fit the movie so well. They're used in such a unique, original way, that it feels like this alone makes the movie a classic. The film is really well made, and even though I don't love i
