Hey Guys x So I haven't done a 'Favourites' post since December, and I think that I'm only going to do it monthly if I have something that I really want to talk about, rather than forcing myself to do it each month and then having some of the months feel either repetitive or sparse. Hey Guys x It's been a little while since my last post (almost two weeks) but with this virus stuff, everything is a bit crazy at the moment! This is a movie that came out on Netflix a little while ago. After reading the description, I immediately added it to my list and watched it as soon as I got the chance. Evan (Seann William Scott) is a social worker and a new father, who is severely sleep-deprived. However, lack of sleep and hidden childhood traumas cause Evan to take his need for revenge to a dangerous level. I'm really disappointed that I didn't like the film as much as I wanted to. However, that doesn't mean that I didn't like it at all. The beginning of the film plays out like a cheesy 80s horror movie, which I loved because I love those old movies - the shitter, the better! Hey Guys x I read and reviewed the prequel to this book sometime last year, and you can read my review here ! Bayview High is still reeling over the events surrounding the death of Simon Kelleher a year ago. But now, someone is stepping up to take Simon's place. Someone who uses a game of Truth or Dare to destroy the school from the inside out. But when personal secrets are revealed, and a death occurs, will the students of Bayview be able to discover who started the game before it's too late? Despite the fact that I was so annoyed with the ending of the first book that I had to write a spoiler-filled rant/review on it, I enjoyed the first book more than this one. Hey Guys x I remember seeing the trailer for this back in December when I was at the cinema. I didn't really know what it was about, but even from that I knew that this was something I wanted to see. When Cecilia's (Elisabeth Moss) abusive ex-boyfriend commits suicide, she should feel relieved. But weirdly, she feels like he's still with her. And when unexplainable things start happening to her, Cecilia knows  that Adrian (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) is involved. But can she get anyone to believe her before it's too late? I loved this film. Hey Guys x This is the sequel to 'To All The Boys I Loved Before', which I reviewed HERE  back in 2018. I absolutely loved the first film, so much so that I bought the trilogy of books. So I already knew where this film would go due to reading the book, but I was still really excited to see it! Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) are a couple, and their relationship is stronger than ever. However, when Lara Jean's last love letter makes it's way back to her, it throws her for a loop. And when the recipient of that letter, John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher), comes back to town, Lara discovers that maybe her relationship with Peter isn't as strong as she thought. Hey Guys x I wrote this post before Oscar season, but when reviewing and watching all of the nominated films, it got completely buried. Then after Oscar season, I got completely buried with work. But either way, here's my Hustlers review! Destiny (Constance Wu) is a stripper who doesn't really know what she's doing - and she's not having a good time doing it. That is, until she meets Ramona (Jennifer Lopez), who takes Destiny under her wing and shows her the ropes of being a successful stripper. However, when a major economic collapse means that the strippers lose their clients, the girls have to come up with another way to make ends meet. Hey Guys x I read Kepnes’ first book, ‘You’ after the first season of the Netflix show came out last year and I completely loved it, so much so that it made me want to watch the show again and buy the second book right away. However, after reading some of the (negative) reviews of the second book on Amazon, I decided that I would leave it where it was and just enjoy the first book as a standalone. But when the second season of the show came out, even though I didn’t love it nearly as much as I loved the first one, it spurred me on to finally buy and read the second book. Joe Goldberg is back.
