3 Idiots | 100 Movies Bucket List

 

Next up for the Bucket List was a first-time watch!

Not only had I never seen this movie, but I'd never heard of it, so I didn't have any feelings one way or the other about watching it.

I really liked this movie. I had no idea what to expect, so I was really happy it was so interesting and engaging.

My favorite thing about the movie is that it's a coming-of-age story. 

Typically stories like this are about children becoming teenagers or teenagers becoming adults, so it was really nice to see a coming-of-age movie about older people - and it feels important to see the genre explored in this way.

There's also a love story at the heart of the film, which is really sweet to watch. For me, though, the most important love story is the story between friends, rather than the romantic story. The three friends had great chemistry and worked really well together.

This is a character-driven story, and the characters are all great. Not only are they people you want to follow, but they're people you want to spend time with even after the credits roll.

And part of this is down to the writing, which was done really well. Everything felt authentic and unique, while staying completely engaging throughout.

This is one of the more fun bucket list picks, and definitely worth watching if you've never seen it!
