How To: Survive In A Horror Movie
As Halloween is coming up, I have been watching a lot of scary movies and noticing that there are always things that people do that get them killed. I honestly think that, if I was in a horror movie, I would survive whatever the killer could throw at me.
So I thought I'd give you my tips, so that you too can survive a horror movie!
So I thought I'd give you my tips, so that you too can survive a horror movie!
Don't Split Up
I can't stress this enough, when a group of friends are being hunted by a killer, splitting up ensures that a few of them will be killed. Nothing good has EVER come from a group splitting up. Sticking together is key!
Don't look for the killer
This also goes for walking into a house and screaming 'hello'. If you go looking for the killer, you will not find them, they will find you! If you shout 'hello?' when there should be no one home, you will not find what you are looking for, and you'll just alert the killer to where you are. If you hear a strange noise when you're home alone, in a horror movie, get the hell out!
Use your phone as a light
If you're in a horror movie, chances are, the electricity will not work, you will not be able to find candles and the batteries in your torch will run out. In our modern society, everyone has a mobile phone with a screen. If you use the phone screen as a light, as long as it's charged, the battery won't run out, the electricity will not affect it and there will be no need for candles.
Don't investigate scary noises
If you're home alone and you hear a scary noise, it will probably be a killer. The best thing to do is to not react to it and leave as quickly and quietly as you can. If you look for the killer, you'll find something else (like his weapon) and there will be no time to turn back!
Don't answer the phone
If you've seen 'Scream' or 'When a Stranger Calls', you'll know that answering the phone is never a good thing! The killer will try to call you. If the ID shows a friend who is currently not with you, it is the killer calling from their phone. If it is an unknown caller, it is the killer. The best way to avoid this is to not answer the phone!
Don't fall over
If you get to the point where you have to run from the killer, don't fall over. It will give the killer the leverage he (or she) needs and they will catch you. Of course, the killer will probably cut you off and kill you anyway, but staying upright is your best bet!
Make sure your car is full of petrol!
This is one of the most important tips! Make sure your car is full of petrol. There will be a time when you have the option to get away, and you have your car as a get-away vehicle. If your car is full of petrol, there is no limit to where you can go, and who you can get away from!
Always listen to children!
If a child says that they have an imaginary friend that they talk to, and weird things start happening, listen to the child and worry! People never listen to children, but they are always right when it comes to things like this!
Remember: The killer is never dead first time
The killer can get shot, stabbed and run over with a car, but they will never be dead the first time you try! They are almost immortal, and need to be killed multiple times before they actually die!
Thank you for reading. I hope this was fun for you to read!
