Book Review #28: Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard

Image
This is a hit TV series, and everyone that I know who watches it, completely loves it! So I'm sure you've heard of it before. One of my favourite things about the book is the way that Sara Shepard switches between many different characters without it getting confusing for the reader, which I think is amazing!   Meet Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily. They used to be best friends, but the disappearance of their 5th best friend Alison DiLaurentis. Aria moved to Iceland and the rest of the girls kept to themselves, barely speaking for the three years after Ali's disappearance. So when Aria comes home, she expects things to be different.  Ali was the secret keeper of the group, but with Ali gone, the girls expected their secrets to be kept hidden. Whether it's Spencer kissing her sister's boyfriend, Aria more-than-crushing on her new English teacher, Emily wanting girls to be more than just her friends, or Hanna using 'ugly tricks' to stay beautiful, th...

Design Changes!

Hey Guys x So, I've been ill today and had the day off from college. I've been planning to renovate my blog for a while, so I thought I'd do it today because I had the whole day free. And yes, I will still be posting a book review tonight! This is going to be a quick post just so I can explain to you my ideas for my changes. The Background I wanted to keep the pink theme, as I feel like that's a part of Lou's World now, but I wanted to make it less of a harsh pink and more ballet pink. My background is a blogger images and I just thought it suited my blog so much better than my other template. Page views I wanted to add this gadget to my blog for ages, but I told myself to wait until I hit 5K views, which I did a few days ago. Description I wanted to change my description because I wanted to change 'aspiring blogger' to just 'blogger', which I spoke about here , but when I was changing it, I decided to just come up with a whole ne...

How To: Survive In A Horror Movie

As Halloween is coming up, I have been watching a lot of scary movies and noticing that there are always things that people do that get them killed. I honestly think that, if I was in a horror movie, I would survive whatever the killer could throw at me. So I thought I'd give you my tips, so that you too can survive a horror movie! Don't Split Up I can't stress this enough, when a group of friends are being hunted by a killer, splitting up ensures that a few of them will be killed. Nothing good has EVER come from a group splitting up. Sticking together is key!   Don't look for the killer This also goes for walking into a house and screaming 'hello'. If you go looking for the killer, you will not find them, they will find you! If you shout 'hello?' when there should be no one home, you will not find what you are looking for, and you'll just alert the killer to where you are. If you hear a strange noise when you're home alone, in a ho...

My Top 10 TV Shows

Image
I am really into TV Shows. I get into them really quickly and I could spend hours watching them! It was really hard for me to narrow my favourites down to just 10, so I may do another post at some point where I tell you the rest of them! I hope you enjoy this countdown, and I hope that some of my favourites are your favourites too! 10. Psych   If you haven't seen this, I'll give you a bit of background. Shawn Spencer (left) works with his best friend Burton Guster (right) with the police department as a psychic. He is rarely wrong about his instincts. But there's a catch: Shawn isn't actually a psychic at all! I love comedy shows and psych is so funny! I really suggest you watch it because not only is it funny, but it's so clever!   9. F.R.I.E.N.D.S   I've probably spoken about F.R.I.E.N.D.S a lot, but if you don't watch it, it's basically about a group of 6 friends, Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe, and the different ...
