Blogmas Day 23: Christmas Routine Questions With Abi Kelly!

Image
Hey Guys x This is the third and final collab of Blogmas - I can't believe there's only 2 days to go until Blogmas is finished, it passed so quickly! You can view Abi's blog by clicking here ! Abi and I decided ages ago that we wanted to do a collab, whether for Blogmas or not, but as it is Blogmas, we quickly came up with the theme of our Christmas routines. So we both sent each other a list of questions about our Christmas routines, so I'm going to answer her questions now. My Christmas Routine: What time do you wake up on Christmas morning? I always wake up early on Christmas morning, even when I'm not that excited, I can't really help myself, my body just wakes itself up! Maybe around 6-6.30? If you have stockings, do you open them with your family? I don't have stockings and I've never had stockings. Our family have just never done them! Do you open all your presents before/after Christmas dinner? Before, definitely before. I o...

Blogmas Day 22: Last-Minute Gift Ideas!

Image
Hey Guys x It's so close to Christmas, and there will always be a few of us who leave everything to the last minute and then have no idea what to get someone! So I thought that I'd give you some ideas for last-minute gifts that you can get for the people that you left until now! Homemade Christmas Cards I saw this on a blog yesterday and I thought that it was such a great idea! You can print out pictures from your computer, cut them out, stick them on a piece of card and make your own Christmas card for any friends or family that you haven't bought anything for yet! Trinket Box I love this idea! In your house you might have a little empty trinket box, or even a mason jar or something. Then you can buy loads of cheap but pretty things to put in the jar, like a nail varnish, a lip gloss etc, and then you don't even need to wrap it, you can give it to someone like that. Especially if you bought things specifically for one particular person. Second-Hand This...

Blogmas Day 21: Christmas Party Playlist!

Image
Hey Guys x Today's post is all about music! Christmas music to be precise. Whether you're having a Christmas party yourself, attending one, or just trying to get into the festive spirit by yourself, these songs are guaranteed to put you in the best mood for the festive season! Christmas (Baby please come home) - Michael Buble I'm loving this song this year, completely and utterly loving it! I don't know what it is about Michael Buble, but it's like his voice was made for the Christmas period, and I love it! Mistletoe - Justin Bieber I think he either released this last year or the year before that, but I am still as in love with it as I was when I first heard it. It's such a beautiful song and I can't stop listening to it! All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey Of course this  had to be in here somewhere! I think it would be impossible to get through the Christmas period without listening to this song at least once, let al...

Blogmas Day 18: Birthday Baking!

Image
Hey Guys x Yes, my birthday was just under a week ago, however, yesterday was the day when I celebrated with my uni friends. I had two of them over, and they're both amazing bakers, so when deciding what we would do, of course I wanted to see them bake! The one requirement that I had was, whatever we made had to be iced in the shape of Captain America's Shield. So they came over, and spent the majority of the day baking, in between eating pizza and watching game shows, and it was so much fun! And when the cakes were done and the icing went on, I was so impressed that I had to immediately get my camera out and snap some pictures, so that you can see how amazingly talented my friends are and how delicious these cakes looked!  Real Shield  Cupcake Shield   Pretty amazing if I say so myself, considering we didn't have blue icing or a star-shaped cutter. Or any cutters for that matter! For the circles we had to use different shapes objects (like the cover o...

Blogmas Day 17: Deep Christmas Questions With Girl Abroad!

Image
Hey Guys x Today I'm doing a collab with Alice, aka Girl Abroad! We decided that we didn't just want to ask each other random questions, so we decided to ask each other 'deep' questions with the theme of Christmas. So be prepared to get really deep with me today! We're answering the same questions that we came up with together, so after you read this post, check out Alice's post on her channel, which is linked here ! Deep Christmas Questions If you could relive Christmas 2014, what would you change? I wouldn't change a lot. However, I would have changed my thought process. At Christmas last year, all of the fun was overshadowed by the fact that we had exams the following year. So I would have changed my mind set and just enjoyed Christmas for itself rather than thinking too far into the future about the things that were worrying me. Are you genuinely excited for Christmas? I don't know. I'm genuinely excited for Blogmas, I'm ...

Blogmas Day 16: Gift Giving Rant!

Image
Hey Guys x I haven't done a rant in a while, so I'm doing one now! I'm ranting about both giving and receiving presents, because as much as I love doing it, there are some things about exchanging gifts that annoy me! I hope you enjoy reading my rant! Presents Coming Late This is a problem that I'm suffering with now. It's not so bad with family because you see them all the time, but chances are, when you're meeting up with friends, you've chosen the one date that all of you can do. Therefore, when you buy them presents and they come late, you can't give them to them at any other time! I'm going through this now and it's turning into a nightmare! Costs There's no way of getting around it, Christmas is the most expensive time of year, and there's no way to get around this because there are some people that you have to buy presents for no matter what! Knowing What You Want Christmas is the time of year when you get countles...

Blogmas Day 15: My Christmas Tree | 2015

Image
Hey Guys x This is going to be a picture post, because there's not a lot that I can say about my Christmas tree! It's not a real tree, we have the same one every year, but I love that because you have the fun of Christmas without spending January picking up the bristles that fall off! Let me know what colour theme you have for your Christmas tree, and what your favourite decoration is! I hope you enjoy seeing my tree! Thank you for reading (or in this case - looking!) It's only 10 days until Christmas! Come back tomorrow for Blogmas day 16!
