4 Months and Too Much Information!

Image
I can't believe that tomorrow is 4 months to the day that I started this blog!   Ok, I know that I do this kind of post every month, but I can never believe the amount of support that I get as each month goes and another one comes!   I just want to thank everyone that has ever messaged me about my blog or commented on it, because it means a lot to me, and I love the fact that people actually like what I write and read all of my posts!   When I hit one month, I took pictures of my day, and I really wanted to do that again but 1) I didn't do anything interesting today, and 2) My camera is still broken and I haven't found a replacement.   I have seen the 'Too Much Information' tag done so many times, mainly by my favourite YouTubers. Here are some of my favourites:   Marcus Butler Connor Franta Jim Chapman   So I thought that I would do the tag myself. Enjoy!   Too Much Information   1: What are you w...

Baking White Chocolate Cookies!

Image
I hardly ever bake. Yesterday I saw one of my closest secondary school friends for the first time in about a year. So when she suggested to bake something, I was instantly excited! We loosely followed the recipe of Tanya Burr's Milk and White Chocolate cookies , but we did things slightly differently as we didn't have scales or milk chocolate! Ingredients : (Makes 15 cookies) 250g Caster Sugar 200g Self Raising Flour 1 egg 200g Butter  As much chocolate as you want! Method Before starting, preheat your oven to 200 degrees (which I think is gas mark 6) and grease 2 baking trays Start by whisking together the butter and the sugar (An electric whisk would probably be best, but I don't have one!) When it is firmly mixed, sieve in the flour and mix/whisk it in Whisk in the egg, then use your hands to knead the mixture until it forms a dough Break your chocolate up and add it in depending on how much you want. I used the whole bar an...

Girl Talk: What's In My Jewellery Box?

Image
I don't wear a lot of jewellery, so I don't have a lot of it. This is going to be a similar post to my 'What's In My Bag' post that I wrote a few Friday's ago. I've had the same jewellery box for as long as I can remember. This week, I looked through it and remembered pieces of jewellery that I hadn't remembered was even there. Adding in one or two of my favourite pieces, I decided to show you guys my oldest and favourite pieces of jewellery. Firstly let's start with the jewellery box itself:  As I said, I've had this jewellery box for as long as I can remember and I love it. My favourite thing about it is that it's slightly orange, but the surface is still mirrored. I also like the pattern, which is on the front and top of the box. It just makes it nicer than just having a plain box. It's not the biggest box and can't hold a lot. But as I don't have a lot of jewellery, it's big enough for me! These are my ol...

Book Review #19: When I Was Joe by Keren David

Image
I had never read anything like this book before it was given to me by my mum. She wanted to get me away from typical 'romance books', and with this one, she completely succeeded. The cover shown above was the first thing that attracted me to the book. The blood splatters half freaked me out and half made me want to get to the conclusion of the book before I even opened it.   The book is about a teenager called Ty. Ty has just seen someone get killed, but rather than keep his mouth shut about what he's seen, he goes straight to the police. But it's not just anyone that's committed this crime. It is a group of gangsters who will do anything to make sure that Ty's mouth stays permanently shut! So, to protect themselves, Ty and his mother have to go into a witness protection programme, where he is able to reinvent himself as 'Joe'. Life as Joe seems to be a lot better than life as Ty. But does being in witness protection mean that you are actually...

Which Disney Princess Are You?

Image
I don't think I have to tell you again how much of a Disney girl I am. But rather than doing my usual 'Top 10' in terms of Disney, I thought I'd do something different. As I've been watching Disney for so long, I began to analyse the princesses. By doing this, I saw that each princess has a completely different personality. So I thought it would be fun for you guys to read what I write about some of the different princesses, and decide which princess you think you are. Enjoy! Are You Ariel?   A dreamer. You'd risk your life to make your dreams come true. People don't always understand why you do the things that you do, but your most loyal friends will always help you along the way. You weren't made to be alone, you survive best in a group, with someone that you trust with all your heart. And it's easy for you to trust people, because you have a big heart.   Are You Mulan?   A warrior. You fight for what you want. You're ...
